The internet has always been a more honest interpretation of myself. My anxiety and inability to express myself normally had made offline interactions extremely difficult. My anxiety issues have subdued to a manageable degree now so my personality online is much more transparent offline compared to what it used to be (if you ignore all the strange body language and flat voice).

Essentially it's much the same now and has been for the last couple of years.

I'm more social online though. I have a hard time reading people in general. Engaging with people in my area of interests is the only way I can communicate (debating, playing games). I have a severe lack of caring when it comes to taking an honest interest in people....used to try when I was younger but I no longer do.

I'm a pretty open book both offline and online. The only thing that's under lock and key are my own feelings, mostly because I don't really understand them myself. I've gone years without recognizing them. I only express those to one person.

I was thinking about those who join the conversation on Forum or play online game.. Also those who Bully others online, but they're nothing like that in real life?! Since Internet protect the users identity, this will open them self without worrying about getting penalties!

Also it'll display their true personally without people judging your look.. (If very handsome you'll know ladies will talk with you base on your good look, if very ugly.. well lets say you'll be unlucky with ladies ;p) and reputation (like people spreading true or false rumors about yourself and most may tend to avoid you or pretend to be your friends)

one will make ... make enemies.. This is way of life.

Also I'm honorable person.

But in real life, I ... mean haha, and sad.. Also I'm very quiet type of person, and like online personally I'm honorable.

What you think about yourself when you're online, can you tell you're bit different than you are in real life?

Sounds like you have a hang-up.
Honorable people don't go around saying they are honorable, people around that person say they are honorable.

I don't have Family, No Wealth, Honor is all I got! So yes I say I'm Honorable and I'm proud of myself! If I have dishonor myself I might as well kill myself.

I'm not quite sure what this "true self" even supposed to mean, because it could mean a whole bunch of different things. Is it how someone "normally act"? That's supposed to be "true self"? I kind of doubt such a thing even exist.

If you're talking about how I act, then I don't act very differently online or off.

I'm a lot more inconsequentially blunt than I would be irl here because I have anonymity in my favor. There's nothing wrong with a little bitchiness here and there to put people in their place, that's the nature of the web.

I get what you mean by being call honorable have to be from someone else not yourself. Having to be acknowledge by someone without making it obvious that you want them to say You are Honorable heh.

Of course all I get is "You're very nice guy" :p

Well hard to get acknowledge in real life when I don't go out. XD But online game people do entrusted me with their valuable stuff that are irreplaceable. I have proven so for many years heh, and I never understood why people would betray one another for items or Money. Friends are more valuable than money and items/Sword.

Hmm You're saying its Eye of Beholder?

I think both. Some people will probably ne someone they're not and others feel more comfortable to be truthful.

A lot of people aren't themselves online - I used to work with someone who would catfish others online and act like they were male even though they were female.

However I act like myself no matter if it's on the internet or in person. I'm just out to make friends and have conversation either way, so I don't see why I should prop myself up like someone I'm not. I wouldn't have been able to befriend the people I know that way, or have the opportunities I've had if I hadn't just been myself. Thanks to everything I'm friends with a lot of people in the anime industry, I'm lucky enough to be able to work an industry booth at a local convention and have the most fun because of the people I've come to meet through it, and I'm moving to another part of the country in the spring because of a friendship that's lasted ever since I was in high school. I couldn't imagine where I'd be at had I not been myself online, but I'm sure I wouldn't have had the opportunities I have now nor be as happy as I am currently had I tried to be anyone different.
