In the most extreme case where I'm up for 20+ hours I become sore and physically shaky. I also have a hard time breathing normally. Usually when I'm sleep deprived I become food deprived. After being awake for so long I become numb and don't even realize that I'm hungry. It takes me about 2-3 days to fully recover.

When I lack sleep I get irritable and short tempered and will snap at people.

When I don't eat on schedule, I get migraines so I not only get sick and puke my guts up but I am also short tempered and likely to bite your head off.

When I don't get enough sleep I'm usually really quite. I mainly just sit there and ignore everything that goes on around me. When I'm hungry, I'm extremely irritated. The slightest things usually make me snap.

I have sleep apnea, so I am always tired. I'm use to it ; ; When I am hungry, I either get a headache or really weak. Neither usually effect my mood.

I guess when I haven't eaten for awhile I start wondering how everything around me tastes.

When I don't eat it depends on what time of day it is, I normally sleep from about 5am-1pm, and if I get up at about 1pm as usual, I can happily put off eating until like 8pm without any particular change in spite of my hunger. However, if I'm even the tiniest bit hungry anytime after I eat dinner (i.e. between 7 and 8pm), I can't concentrate on anything and have to go get something to eat.

When I'm sleep deprived to a relatively normal degree (i.e. been awake for 18+ hours) it's usually just lack of concentration and delayed reaction speed. However, I'm going to tell everyone a story about something that happened when I was at university and was extremely sleep deprived.

So I rarely slept more than about 5 hours over the course of a day (I used to sleep about 3 hours at night and then have a 1-2 hour nap in the afternoon), and there was one night I distinctly remember where I'd been awake for about 30 consecutive hours, had taken a one hour nap before going to an 'essential' lecture and then had come home and spent the next 20 or so hours trying to write an essay. I was starting to do this thing that you'll understand if you've ever pulled an all-nighter where I would continue doing whatever I was doing but my mind would sort of phase out, and then I'd snap back into consciousness a minute later, not realising what I'd done in that past minute.

An example of this happened when I was trying to write an essay about the Jacobite rebellion of 1715 (basically trying to restore the Stuart monarchy in England, if you don't know), and, although it had nothing to do with anything (also I don't drink, I should add), there was a point where I sort of suddenly regained awareness to find that I had written in my essay something along the lines of: 'The Duke of Berwick was eventually able to resist the sweet wine.'

I still to this day don't understand what I could possibly have been thinking about that drove me to write this. Needless to say when that happened I figured I needed to go to sleep before I made a more serious mistake.

When I'm tired, I'll be really lethargic, forgetful, and might be irritable and will lash out pretty easily. When I'm hungry, I'm just in total bitch mode

Depends on how tired I am tbh. If I didn't get enough sleep I'll probably be cranky af but if I did and I'm still tired (ie. overslept) I'll probably just be really quiet and distracted.

I have a hard time focusing when I'm hungry but I honestly don't get mad like some people.

When I'm too hungry I get grouchy and lethargic. Also have trouble focusing. I tend to get headaches from not eating enough too. I can deal with hunger pretty well though.

When I'm tired I get drowsy and have lowered inhibitions. I am much more talkative when I'm tired. It can actually be a good thing, but I'm also much more likely to get irritated and snap at people.
