Works well on desktop. The mobile side however gets me stuck in Buffering Hell since it streams 1080p video (the old WP app used to stream 720p). Maybe adding a way to limit the video quality should be considered.

Hmm, I prefer the website. There's no home page on the app that is similar to the website home page. I'm a really big fan of the main Crunchyroll page, it's very well-designed. The app also doesn't have any access to the forum community or the news articles, that I can see. Also, I don't see any way to make comments or see other people's comments on a video, which is something I'd really miss.

On the plus side, at least the app has the fifteen-second back button (and forward button), that's a real plus. Kinda weird that those buttons haven't been incorporated in the website streaming player.

Much more resource friendly than flash on my system. Can't watch with flash cause of skipping( Core2duo 2009 and windows 8 vid driver) but smooth in the app.

Requests:
Better seeking(no hover indicator for jump with mouse)
No indicator for video unavailable yet from queue
Quality selection(Bandwidth is a concern on a metered connection)

Play pause button in middle of video and seek buttons on left and right a la iOS

?? Maybe a very brief crunchyroll logo animation to give time for the controls to disappear

thanks for being awesome and making your app for windows phone... while the rest of the world refuses to do so. I love windows phone and I cant stand the other phones.

you cant even get a windows app from Gieco for your insurance. a 50 trillion dollar company who I have to pay huge amounts of money to each month, cannot make it happen. and all the others to same thing.

Neat! gonna try it out and see how it compares to the desktop browser.

Edit: So far, so good! Although I'm only getting ads for Crunchyroll shows. Have you not tied the sponsor ads in yet?

Love it - just needs a Google cast button and would be perfect!

On a win-10 PC:

Right-click on the vid in your queue, a menu pops up
Click the top choice: "Information", it sends you to a picture without much information
Click on the ">" sign in that picture, it sends you to the show page with the episode list on it.

Not sure how to get to the pop-up menu on a phone because I don't have one of those. Maybe a long press, if I had to guess...

That's an Android function. Windows uses Continuum. You only need a Miracast receiver to stream the app wirelessly to a TV set (if it doesn't have one built-in).
