Lets say you are a 43 year old man who finds out your live in girlfriend lied about her age and is really 63 years old. however, you don't let her know you know her true age.

Please answer these questions:

1) Let's say you want to continue the relationship with the 63 year old woman. How would you handle this as a man?

2) how would this revelation affect your relationship?

3) what sort of age related conflict would occur between you and your 63 year old girlfriend?

I would date her because of her personality and relative attractiveness. If she is cute and nice at 63, more power to her.

I wouldn't enter a relationship with a woman who lied about her age, period. How do I know? I don't live in America.

Age is meaningless.

Lying, however, is tough to get over in most relationships. If the other person is willing to forgive the liar, then that's their choice and their risk. As a friend I would respect their wishes to remain in the relationship and carry on a fake, duplicitous friendship, but I wouldn't attend their funeral nor leave them alone in my house.

Age is irrelevant but the lying is something that might merit the end of that.

If I was a 43 year old man dating a 63 year old woman
I wouldn't really change, it'll be more or less the same though I would be kind of mad if she kept it a secret for a long timee

Who the fuck doesn't notice a 20 year difference? Like I know some ethnicities show their age slower than others but that is ridiculous.

I think the lying about age is wrong but just to say my husband is 7.yrs older so i think age not issue if you love that person.

That kind of an age gap at those ages really isn't a big deal. If I wanted to continue the relationship I obviously like her despite her age so I would continue on as if it were nothing.

2) how would this revelation affect your relationship?

It wouldn't because it shouldn't. If I like her for her then what does the age matter?

3) what sort of age related conflict would occur between you and your 63 year old girlfriend?

Obviously none so far if things have already been going so well that we live together.

I agree with the above statements. The reason she probably never mention her age was that she thought it was not important. Or she felt that even though, they were a match, he might leave her because of the age difference and not because of lack of common interest.

Hmm... I think that might be too large of an age gap for me, definitely a deal breaker.
