It was narrowly rejected this time, but I read elsewhere that it looks very likely that the proposal will be brought up again shortly, possibly with a lower voting threshold.

Thoughts?

Tell you the truth I wouldn't be surprised if they haven't done so. Of course they going to take look at our Computer! They are Government! :p Remember the smoking man from the X-File? The highest level in the Government that not even President knew of the existence!!

How do I know that? Well I guess this is ok.. Not like I'll get kill or anything after all I do work for the Government.. and doesn't matter if some low level Law enforcement see this, because I'm untouchable! :)

Good old Benjamin Franklin speaks to this tune very well:

“Those who surrender freedom for security will not have, nor do they deserve, either one.”

In this case I 100% agree with him.

They just want what they already do legalized, that is all.

All they'd find is all my figure stuff and my browsing history from my endless Pixiv tunnels. I swear that site sucks you in and doesn't ever let you go.

I'm more appalled by the fact of using browser history to build up a case. I don't want to be impaled on circumstantial evidence.

Well, as long as they remember that it's supposed to be for US citizens only. But they probably won't. Again.
Is bullcrap regardless, "We will watch you to see if you do anything wrong, the idea of watching people who are suspected of doing something wrong is soooo outdated...".

One, if you're using Chrome while logged into your Google account then you're asking to have your browsing history looked at by anyone who could get Google to let them take a look

Two, it's not like you could really hide even if you do try to hide

That only hides it from YOUR browsing history, not your ISPs.
