Well I only like my accent. It's horrible the accent from Mexico city & some other places. So I understand how you feel.

I don't think I've come across a language that sounded awful. Funny? Yes.

Pretty much everything other than Japanese, and not because I'm a weeb. The simple, consistent syllables are really pleasing, and I think they work so much better with music than any other language. There may be other languages that are also vocally simple and pleasing, but nothing comes to mind.

One that bothers me in particular is German.

I am glad we agree that German is the true romance language.

I mean the guttural "Ich liebe dich" is the epitome of I love you. It cant sound and better.

Those French, Italian and Spanish have no ground against the true romance language!

There's no such thing as a language called "Chinese". It is a set of different languages, such as Mandarin, Cantonese, Hokkien, Shanghainese, Hakka, etc.

...except Romance languages are the languages that are really just corrupted Latin (French, Spanish, Italian), or the language the Romans speak.

The harsh gutturals and staccato of German does have quite an appeal, though, I suppose.

German, it just sounds so harsh to me, German culture itself is interesting, just their language I'm not fond of
