I would say German, but it's like saying machinery is ugly, while yes it is true, it also has a sort of elegant beauty in how gracefully functions.

I think they all sound cool but when I hear my grandparents speak French, I can't really say I'm a big fan.

Thank you. I know that the Chinese government stated that Mandarin is the official language but the citizens don't even follow it excerpt for the ones that live in the Beijing province.

Mandarin is often referred to as "Chinese" apparently.

It's the Chinese language most people are exposed to, followed mostly by Cantonese.

You are correct. Although the government over there wants only one language but the citizens are like I will speak my own language to keep it alive.

Oddly perhaps, I find German to be unpleasant to listen to. It sounds like someone trying to gargle away their rage. >_< I guess I don't care much for chinese or spanish either. At my last job I spent a lot of my day getting yelled at by a chinese man and a woman from mexico.

English.. I don't know why, maybe because I understand what people are actually saying? Also because I don't really like the way English words roll off your tongue, and I feel like they don't flow.

I think most of the other languages I've been hearing sound really pretty. Even Mandarin. I grew up hearing Mandarin, but whenever my parents speak in their various dialects, I find it really fascinating, especially when they speak really quickly.. actually that applies to most languages I listen to. Maybe I just have a fetish to people talking quickly in different languages?
