What do you think of switching between dubs and subs?

I never have any issue switching back and fourth between Subs and Dubs. The fact that I don't find it jarring at all to go back and fourth is why I probably don't have issue with most Dubs.

I'l watch a dub if I want to watch the anime while doing something else. Otherwise, it the difference in vocals is too jarring for me to switch.

I've been watching subs my whole life. Watching dub is really weird for me because I've gotten used to them speaking Japanese. The only dubbed anime I could watch is Pokemon lol
Tip: watching in subs helps you understand Japanese little by little..

I'm afraid that I must choose a dub only if the English-language voice acting is good and they don't
try to stray too far from the original tone of the Japanese VAs. Otherwise, I try to work through the
subtitles as long as no one is trying to do a fast action sequence that has a lot of dialog in it. That
would be like reading an American superhero comic with a ton of exposition during a single action.
