You've clearly never seen the hoops leadership in the CAF is jumping through to encourage women to join in the last ten years or so if you believe Canada isn't lowering the requirements across the board. And frankly most of the women that do join the CAF don't do so as combat personal. And honestly I am not entirely comfortable with this Human Rights commission basically ordering leadership to allow more women into the forces.

Do you have any actual evidence to back this up or is this your usual ranting? The last I saw anything about changing the standards it was because we were getting too damn fat and even then they were accused of making it harder in order to cut women and older men.

If they don't meet the already lowered requirements should the CAF be forced to allow them in anyway to maintain some illusion of gender equality? Personally I don't think so , you can't hack it go home. And that is regardless of what is between your legs. I really could care less if such a opinion is seen as sexist. I am under no obligation to accept this watering down of the quality of Canada's Armed Forces simply to appease all the feminists out there.

Obvious not and no one is saying they should. You're doing the same strawman BS as the op.

Soo, an archived page to the old standards that were replaced a few years ago?

What precisely does this prove?

That this is not only easier but that more female recruits are passing it.

I am no theoretical physicist but when you update the fitness requirements to be both easier to achieve and see an increase in women passing them I tend to question if leadership is pandering to the overbearing Human Rights Commission.

I also question why so few women volunteer as combat personal . A lot of companies are fighting under strength, some of them at a mere 60% of what they should be . So it's not like there is a shortage of front line positions to go around. And yet most of the women that do pass initial screening become doctors, administrative personal , mechanics, or other back line specialists.

I don't know anything about the military really, and I'll be 18 by the time that law is in effect, but I think it ultimately barely matters. Also, why wouldn't they just have all people who are going to join the military have the same standards to meet? Whoever can fight can fight, right?

Well it's good to know German girls clearly have no clue on how to properly operate a MG-42. Also if MP-40 girl isn't careful she'll blow the head off one of her friends.

How specifically is it easier?

And when you prefix something with an "I'm not expert" argument right before offering your opinion on something developed by experts.. ;p

And? Recruitment has been down across the board for a while. You can thank Harper for that. He's the one that wanted to expand active personnel then cut 5.5 billion out of defense spending and closed recruitment centers. There's no sense in blaming women for Harper's political bullshit.

They can't be underfunded and understaffed but pandering to the HR Commission if they take any action to address it.

Only fair, also, why does everyone act like the women will be on the front lines of a battlefield? They can be drafted and be placed in the Air Force, Navy, or be nurses.
