http://www.cancer.org/cancer/cancerbasics/lifetime-probability-of-developing-or-dying-from-cancer

Basically, it's saying that ~40% of people are going to get cancer, and over half those people will die of cancer. According to averages.

It also says that men have a much higher chance of getting cancer, because reasons, I guess.

So pack your bags and your hazmat suit, bring umbrellas on sunny days, and don't eat anything unless it's organic and free of cancer. Then, maybe you won't die slowly and horribly.

On another note, in our new cancer dystopia, what type of cancer is your favorite? I personally like leukemia, because white blood cells can be replaced sometimes.

Edit:
Cancer.gov says cancer rates are going down, and that new cancer treatments continue to be developed. But my recommendation is to stop eating foods with ingredients like high fructose corn syrup, artificial colors, etc.

This post isn't supposed to be, "EVERYONE WE'RE ALL GOING TO DIE!" but rather, "Hey maybe it would be good if we tried to prevent cancer."

Edit 2: This is also based off of US statistics, so your statistics may be different.

We are living longer so more chances to get it. We need a cure.

If people are living longer...more resources are being used up, more kids are produced...overpopulation continues...

No we don't.

I had cancer, APML Leukaemia to be specific, it sure isn't nice but I never got upset about it, I just got on with it, got better and got on with my life. Cancer doesn't have to be the end of the world, just one more challenge to overcome.

I hope someone you love dies from cancer. No, I wouldn't wish that because it's awful. My father died from cancer this year and it was one of the most rough things to ever happen. It's a good thing the internet allows people to talk out of their ass.

So over 20% will die from cancer.
Here it's 1 in 3.
But people are living longer than before so death by natural causes is becoming less common and that's good.

It's only a matter of time for me because of family history plus all the Pepsi I drink . I don't mind really I died once already so unlike most people I am not afraid as I already got a glimpse of what happens next regardless of what people tell I know what I saw and experienced they can't tell me what they want me too think I saw as they are not me and didn't experience what I did.

I have no family history of ..anything really. My entire family tree has always been as healthy as horses. And my own lifestyle is so healthy it makes most of you look like fat and lazy slackers. So Cancer, not bloody likely mate.
