If someone already made a post on this I apologize and please feel free to redirect me to an active one if you like.

So let me start by saying I enjoy COD, love the franchise and I've been playing it since COD4 in 2007. However the franchise is definitely getting milked to death and the futuristic concept that is currently being used right now is getting... tiring. Advanced Warfare was the one COD I despised so much and for good reason.

I know Infinite Warfare's reveal was heavily criticized for many reasons and it's sitting at #2 most disliked Youtube video of all time. I was initially disappointed because it's another future setting and I really wanted it to go back to the World War eras or modern era. The only thing I'm UPSET about is the COD4 remastered $80 package. That was BS. Unfortunately I'm not the most patient guy in the world so I got this package for the sake of COD4 even though I could've waited. Now I didn't hop on the hate train and after seeing the E3 campaign demo I honestly thought it looked alright for something seemingly outrageous like going to space and stuff.

What are y'all thoughts about it? Please be civil.

Same bullshit every year. Everyone complains how COD will suck and pre-orders it anyway.

In the trends I've seen the past five years, people say "Battlefield is better" but COD ends up selling more. I think it truly might be different this year. Only time will tell so I may be wrong.

Nah, they added the MW1-remake for a reason.

Btw: I really wished they would have just released another Ghost. The Alien-mode was one of the most enjoyable coop-experiences I had in the last few years.

I thought Extinction was fun but I like Zombies more. I guess I'm glad they're bringing that in IW.

Personally Infinite Warfare COD is the first one to even remotely interest me since Black Ops. The futuristic settings are getting kind of tiring I have to half agree there. But honestly are they really milking it any more than the WW2 setting did during the PS2/Xbox (original) generation?

I know everyone has their own tastes, and I mean no disrespect to those who like the World War setting. But I personally would be happy to never see another WW2 shooter again.

I know it's selfish to say, but I know they'll still exist and if people enjoy them then that's awesome. Just saying my interest in WW2 has bottomed out, at least the new Battlefield is WW1 so...that's definitely a more interesting setting.

It's time for you all to get out of last century and switch over to Battlefield.
