1:
Like I say, it's been this way for at least a year now whereby setting my video preference to SD results in the default streaming profile to be 1080P. I click SD and it's all good, but... I watch such much Anime. I mean, a lot. So I have to do this ALL THE TIME.

Ultimate Question Desu: What does that "video preference" button do? It doesn't do what I expected, at least!

2:
Subtitles are available in a very nice spread of languages! I know, I'm getting greedy, but is there ANY chance of offering Russian as a subtitle language? (It is, after all, the second most popular language on the Internet...)

Cheerio, old beans!

Sometimes the data stored for the video preference and what it displays gets out of sync (or you can think of it as "stuck"). The solution is to set it to something other than what it was at (1080p) and what you set it to (SD), and then back to your desired setting again.

In other words, try setting it to 480p. If that "takes" (and it normally will), then you should be able to successfully switch to SD.

I've fiddled with it at least a few times over the last couple years with no success, but tentatively it seems to work.

Cheers Ancient.
