Ok, lately I am thinking it is time to cancel my subscription. There is so much Anime that crunchy does not have that I want to watch. Most of the time I am actually looking for it from other sites.

Don't get me wrong. I like Crunchy. There is some good anime, but it is lacking SOOO much. I have a list of 8 anime given to me by a friend that I would like. Well the list was originally 20, but out of the 20. These 8 are more my style. Out of the 8, only 2 of them is on Crunchy. So that is 6 shows I have to look for on other sites. Possibly pay other sites for.

So, is there anyway to encourage Crunchy to increase the content? Or is the site at the whim of some corporate list of what it can and can't show?

This is one of those things that makes me laugh. Companies complain when people go to sites to watch there stuff for free. Yet I am more then willing to pay a reasonable monthly fee to a site to watch what I want. Yet, if no legitamate pay site is offering it. Then well, that's a lot of lost revenue. This is the same issue I have with wanting to watch certain live action and American cartoons.

i think you can suggest content here: http://www.crunchyroll.com/group/CR_Premium_Members/forum
if enough premium users feel the same way, maybe they'll add the content you suggest. maybe.

Keep in mind if those shows are licensed by other companies, there is often little CR could do to obtain them (until that company's license expires, or at least comes up for a renewal that might allow a change of contract terms). While not every show is exclusively licensed, many are, especially by companies that do physical (BD/DVD) distribution.

It is a simple fact of competition that no one (legal) service will have every show. That applies to all streaming, not just anime.

I've moved this over to the Advice, Info, Recommendations forum.

namealreadytaken has given the correct info about where on Crunchy premium members can suggest shows, and TheAncientOne has provided other useful information about why there is no (legal) single site that has pretty much everything.

I've had pretty good look finding most of what I want to watch on either Crunchyroll or Funimation, but I know even between the two of those I can't find everything on my "want to watch eventually list.)

Sucks to be a SE Asian... No Funimation and hardly anything on crunchyroll and nobody can do anything about it.
