If I came back to life, you wouldn't find me in prison

Sorry, I'm not seeing anything logical towards reality with this line of thought you presented..

What do you mean when you say "came back to life"? No one is going to survive a lethal injection or shot through the heart.

If you mean by resuscitation then no, clinically dead and legally dead are two different things.

If you mean by divine intervention then no, because a life sentence typically also has a fixed amount of years in the fine print.

If you mean by necromancy, then maybe, because if you were declared legally dead and technically still are dead your rights as a human being ceased so you could arguably be considered the legal property of your necromancer.

We really do need fine print in our laws to deal with the potential of necromancy. It is an oversight that I don't know how we have been lucky to get away with for so long.

I know right? I mean, how does this affect necrophilia? Does it still count if the corpse is reanimated by the dark arts? Las Vegas could be missing out on an entirely untapped market. And nevermind Hollywood. If the major studios could just bid over the corpses of famous celebrities?
