The thing is that I'm not old
Posted 6/26/16
I don't try and live fast or make myself think that life is short, what's the point? I play games, watch anime and wear somewhat unconventional clothing. Being twenty six, I wouldn't think about "settling down" or wanting to have a kid, that would be..maybe ten years from now?

I'm 26 too. I'm not in any rush to settle down - though since I don't want kids there's no need to rush.

I think the second you get hung up on being "old" you're old. The older you get, though, you start to realize how little time you have left. There was no convincing myself involved for me, I had that thought from a very young age. I already feel like life is way too short, so what do I do? I live slow, slow as I can. It makes the time go faster, haha.

My hobbies are awesome, even though a lot of people see them as a waste of time, there's a reason I like the stuff I like. I honestly have more fun sitting around the house, playing a video game, ordering pizza and surfing the net than I would be if I was out running around chasing the uh, dream.

I have fun every day and very little of my time I consider wasted, unless the only thing I do is work of course.

Take it slow and enjoy life. Your doing well, you got out of the late teen years where everyone feels they need to have a kid or their life has been a failure. Nothing wrong with wanting to taking life slow.

Is there something you want to accomplish?

Age really has nothing to do with .... well age. If you fill your time with experiences and enjoyment and do the things that you like then surely you have lived more then someone who sits in a cubicle 10 hours a day for 30 years working at a job they hate to hopefully one day have the luxury of free time.

I guess what I'm getting at is its not the time you lived but the time you have spent living life.

not exactly, I try to work on projects that involve programming and/or music in free time but usually discontinue them, eventually I'd like to accomplish something that I'm personally happy with

Do you feel unsatisfied from not bringing your projects up to your standard during the time you're alive? Most of my goals aren't for when I'm dead, they're to keep me happy till then.

You could always try this drug called flaca. I hear it's great and cuts life so you can think you're young forever while being naked and eating grass.

On topic, I don't think anyone really wants to "move fast" unless it's a job status.
