The first two minutes have promise, learn to Condense a 5 minute song into a solid 3:50. Learn to make transitions and beat changes smoother, and not suddenly forcing it. Most of the time it's hard to get the catch, and I lose focus. You want people to really feel the music, and for the most part your sudden changes and mixes make it hard to accept that 5 minute length. Learn to find that sweet spot, instead of randomly putting the song together like a puzzle, think it through.

There is little presence, but you do have good parts. The thing is, its mostly at random when my interest is regained during the song, and little impact after listening to it.

You got the idea, but learn to accept rythm . Yea I know you have it, but you aren't showing it to me respectably. Clean it up, find the parts that hit you the hardest and reevaluate

Humms hit the nail on the head. In summation:

1) Too long
2) Doesn't really flow
3) Lacks a melody you can grasp on to

I have to ask, how much time do you spend on each song? You've posted 7 to your Youtube channel over the last 6 days. If thats the speed you are writing them, then I highly advise you slow down...

i felt i was forcing the transitions too but i still liked it so that's why i did it. it kind of reminded me of the old wipeout game music. thanks for your input.

i write a new song pretty much everyday and i usually spend 2 to 4 hours making it. i tried taking a break from writing but i feel like i always have to write something. it's hard for me to slow down.

When you come back to your songs a month later, do you find that they are as good as you thought they were when you originally made them?
