If you are given the ability to create life, do you think you should do it? Well, I'm not talking about like taking care of an egg and have it grows into a chicken, but like create life as it is. It can be anything from ant to possibly a human being. Personally I think creating life is not the same as killing it, so maybe it should be allowed? What are your guys thoughts on it? I agree that creating life on a computer or sort, many things can go wrong. Creating life and destroying it can be done in the blink of an eye and in vast quantities. So should it be regulated?

I'd create many different life-forms, all with the ABILITY to co-exist in harmony. If you've seen 'The Time Machine' (I loved the '60 version AND the book by H.G. Wells), it would be much like that, except without everyone watching someone drown, and without the cannibalism.

Does this mean I can create a clone army using my genetic template and take over the world?

We already create life. At least when we're not using birth control...

Right well, without someone physically terminating their life. If you give it power and that hard drive never shuts down and run until it breaks it can run for a few hundred years, well it depends on the hard drive

Are we limited to just the creation of life or is it all encompassing? I for one have no problem with creation of new life but I would have an issue with resurrecting the dead. That's just me though.

Right, I haven't found a way to resurrect the dead yet
