I never really venture out in the world of manga unless someone recommends it to me. It's hard to find myself engaged in a story without cringing at some of the cliche stuff most authors nowadays use in their stories (you know what I mean, right?). Honestly, I thought ReLIFE was going to be just like Erased and have the hero of the story go back in time and fix his mistakes or something, but surprisisngly enough the story took a more realistic path. And it's not necessarily the plot itself that makes the story interesting but also the theme and the way each characters choose to approach each situation. I read the manga and it was fun following along with the comedy, drama, and romance of each chapter. I'd love to see where the author takes us now after chapter 83.5. Hopefully it finishes strong so that it could leave me a strong impression.

I'm working my way through it and loving it. At first I was a bit off-put cause of some of the smaller parts
but thanks to some spoiling and how he isn't chasing after the high school girls its really not too much of an issue. At times it honestly reminds me of Kimi ni Todoke
, which is always a good thing

Is this manga updated regulary, or is it just a left-over, with only a chapter, every six months?

Crunchyroll has just been translating the full volumes, not simulpubbing it. In Japan, it comes out weekly on Comico, a webtoon site and then later is reformatted for actual tankoban publication. Vol 5 came out in February. Vol 6 will probably come out late summer/early fall.

^^

But that's pretty much summing up the issue with Crunchyroll manga. They get the anime, Crunchyroll manga is up to 83, whereas the dark side is up to 133. The anime stops around chapter 103, so it's natural people would want to read the rest.

Does that mean that they have left out story from the original manga?

The anime is pretty much identical to the manga, though episode 13 was rewritten a bit. Aside from that, I think things were explained a bit better in the manga, and they cut a few of the smaller scenes for time.

Forgive my ignorance in this topic, but...

Crunchyroll has yet to physically publish any manga that I know of. Some of the ones they translated were picked up by other companies, like Orange was by Seven Seas. It really just depends on how successful they think a print copy will be. The fact that the entire manga is in color is another factor since that makes it more expensive to print. It's been popular enough on this site that if it were a normal B&W manga, it would probably be picked up. As it is, it's a possibility, but I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for it.

I read volumes 1-5 in the last two days as my first manga and got really into it. It's a shame that the anime version goes further than the translated manga. Watching it would feel like I'm spoiling the manga for myself

So why did cr stop uploading the manga? the manga is MUCH further ahead than the anime and yet it hasn't been updated at all? you can find the full up to date manga on mangareader and other sites and yet cr just stopped caring for some reason

I feel bad for Hishiro.

She did not deserve that.
