What is sexism to you? Is job discrimination still a major, widespread problem? What should we teach kids about gender (i.e. what it means to be a boy or girl)? What should we do about the low numbers of women in stem?

What is sexism? Unequal treatment due to nothing but sex.
Is job discrimination still a major widespread problem? Not from the info I've seen.
What should we teach kids about gender? I think we should encourage freedom of expression and allow kids to be whoever they want to be.
What should we do about the low numbers of women in STEM? Nothing but the above.

Sexism is quite prevalent in my line of work. It's a bit difficult for males to get the same kind of recognition or demand the way females do, especially if the boss/client is male. But I'm sure in most other industries, it's still male dominant.

Kids can be taught or at least informed that there are non-binary genders as well, so that they don't spew out ignorant comments to others who may not fall into the M/F category.

Educational institutions starting from pre-k should already be getting everyone involved and at least somewhat interested in the sciences. If low numbers of women in STEM is the problem, schools can start encouraging girls early on what kind of potential they could have with an interest in STEM subjects. But I still think the merit-based system should take priority over gender ratio.

I don't really have a definition of sexism, since it's so context dependent. Sexism could refer to the existence of a disparity (especially when discussing how said gender disparity is institutionalized) or refer more plainly to bigotry against women. I generally defer to the definition the reader gives, since arguing over semantics tends to detract from a discussion when simply adopting the user's definition is easier.

Sexism is that one guy that would call you a loser because you don't have male genitalia.

Giving more positive rewards to one sex over the other, or expecting someone to behave a certain way because of their sex.

I think it starts when you're small. If you have a boy who wants something pink or to play with Barbies, let him. Same with if a girl likes blue and wants to play with monster trucks. We're all human and as long as we do things that don't harm others physically or mentally, it's ok to do in my opinion. I'm tired of expectations of certain things regarding sex and being looked down upon for things just because I'm a girl (or if you're a boy, same thing).

I know so many people who deviate away from the stereotypes... like a guy that says he's still a guy, but he does hair and makeup for a living (on himself too) like the best out of anyone I know lol

I agree for the most part. Sexiness in and of itself isn't sexist. What is sexist though is one gender being portrayed as sexual more than the other gender. Let's face it, in most video games more girls are portrayed as sexual than guys. Of course there are exceptions to this (especially in Japanese games), but I'm sure you can name more scantily clad video game girls than scantily clad video game guys. Now, the sexualization of the genders is a bit more equal when we get to manga, since the ecchi/hentai genre (which sexualizes women) is countered by the shoujo and BL genres (which sexualizes men). As for anime, it's not quite as equal as manga, but it's starting to get there (due to a recent influx of fujoshi bait shows).

Let me reiterate that I personally see nothing wrong with women being sexualized.... but only as long as men are sexualized in an equal amount. After all, I want to see some video games where I can play as a hot guy wearing nothing but a leather jacket and a speedo and can make out with other guys.

Most feminists are sexist. Yep.

Why can't we just treat everyone the same way? The feminists are making it worse with women superiority by now.

No matter how many times I begged my sister to take interest in math, she refused. She took AP math classes in high school, so she could avoid them them in college. She got a master's degree, but I still can't make her like math.
