really interested in a reason why Relife had been prob something like a official statement

I suppose binge watching all the episodes in one day would lead to continued interest as such to want to immediately read the manga or such

Shame i would have looked forward to watching once per week, but i can't hold my self from watching all of em around the same time

Episode 5

So Kariu was taking the coward's way out to beating her rival Hishiro for the silver hairpin, and that's exactly what stealing her bag was all about. But in the end, Arata was able to get those girls to be honest with each other, and Kariu is determined to win the silver hairpin from her next time that they meet. This show has really been great so far, and I will continue to watch on.

Finished binge watching this from episodes 3-13.

Overall, good series. The comedy was fun to watch, had the story building more and more while also exploring characters with their backgrounds.

The finale had the confession and I'm satisfied with it especially considering how cute the couple Oga and Kariu is when they are together. Well the ending was a bit more open ended but since the manga is still ongoing, I guess it was expected. Hishiro and Kaizaki has a complex relationship imo throughout this series from the very start to the finale.

7/10.

Kariu is definitely my favorite character from the series.

I just finished.

I'd give it a 8/10.

It was pretty good, it went just as I thought it would considering the manga, and considering it's still ongoing. It'll probably get a second season at some point hopefully(one can hope).

I'm overall satisfied but I really am wanting more from it.

Finished watching it. I really liked it. The characters weren't focused on just romance or their sports/grades, rather everything felt very balanced in regards to their school life. The development for all of the main characters felt great to me, with each of them getting their own arc for the most part. I really enjoyed the development between Hishiro and Kaizaki, with that last bit showing them both to be loving and quite thoughtful and responsible with their words and actions.

I gotta say, I fell in love with An though. Those glasses... And then when she undid her hair ties... I totally thought she was another test participant and would've continued to think that if they hadn't revealed her identity. It SO could've been a love triangle between her and Kaizaki and Hishiro. It still seems like she's quite attracted to Kaizaki despite nudging him towards Hishiro.

I definitely would enjoy another season of this though. Don't know how long it would take for the manga to get that much material though, especially when taking this season into account.

Episode 6

So Onoya is actually another ReLife experimental subject, and so it's no wonder she knew where Arata lived and did so poorly on the exams. And they fall in love with each other, but that's something that will have to wait. That was pretty funny to see Arata scrambling to clean up his messy apartment.

Proud to say just finished marathoning it. I thought it was great. There was real character development with real, natural feeling problems that the characters faced. My heart was heavy in the middle and I was so happy in the end. The "shocking reveal" in the last episode wasn't so shocking but it is very appropriate and interesting for the story. I need to get on this manga and see how things continue from here.

Kairu is an awesome tsundere. Hishiro is an awesome dandere. And Onoya is an amazing troll.

Would love to see more from this series, one of my new favorite slice of life shows.

Great show. I was probably enjoying it too much too notice all the clues for the big reveal at the end, but once that happened it all made sense.

Hishiro is the best character.

Man, I forgot how much I love this series.

All in all, a pretty good adaptation. The characters were all great (An is best ) and very relatable, plus, the animation was fairly true to the manga. I'm still kinda torn about having all the episodes at once. On one hand, this is the type of show that would get me all impatient and force me to read the manga if episodes came out weekly. On the other hand, marathoning anime always gives me those post-anime blues.

I wonder if the plot twist was that easy in the manga because I was clueless until they revealed it, but the anime had some pretty blatant clues early in the show

Also took me like 7 episodes for me to realize the endings were Kaizaki's MD collection (I think)

What I would't do for a ReLIFE, though

The same 13 episodes which have been streamed now will be released in weekly fashion on Japanse TV now?
Will there be a difference? I'm wondering about the release format a bit...

Ended up reading the manga up to where it is now and, yeah, there's no way they even have close to enough material left for a second season. If we get a second season of the anime it's not going to be for a long time. This has become a series I'm going to actually be reading the manga for as it gets released. On a somewhat related note, now that I've read the manga, the anime seems to be a pretty accurate adaptation.

Just finished binge watching and it is definitely a strong 9/10. It doesn't do anything new with the setting or the genre but it easily hones all of its genre staples and clichés to a T. Humour was on point, characters were fun if initially two-dimensional, MC wasn't a blank slate so we could impose ourselves on him and it handled the mix of drama, slice of life and the whole Relife experiment plotline almost perfectly. It knew when to focus on which aspect and mixed it up and varied throughout before anything became tedious and boring.

So yeah, only reason it isn't a full 10/10 is because it didn't do anything new or ground-breaking but sometimes knowing what you are and owning it the next best thing. Looking forward to a second season!

there are a few small things they dropped from the manga, but it was a good adaptation and clearly this was just a show made to generate interest in the manga. Its a shame because i know had there been more material it would have made a very good 24-26 episode anime.
