Great post/list....Would love to see Hundred, World Trigger, and Dragon Crisis get licensed for starters!

So are we ever going to get an update on when CR intends to release some of these or what the rest of the lineup is?

I wouldn't be surprised if no further titles were announced until they start getting product out the door.

Considering CR is new at this, and even some established companies have a long period between announcement and shipment for some titles, I wouldn't be surprised if we don't see any titles shipped until sometime in 2017.

I see. Well CR has a panel at comic-con in October, so hopefully they reveal some more information regarding their plans for their home releases.

A new factor has been thrown into the mix with the confirmation that with the new partnership, Funimation will be handling these releases.

I'm curious, when I actually the blu-rays I wonder if it will have CR's, Funi's or both of their names of the set. I'm still a little confused with this partnership.

I would expect both names to be on the disc. The question is for the CR titles, whose name would take precedence (and appear as the publisher when for example, a title is listed for sale on Amazon).

With that said, I don't believe that matters much in the grand scheme of things, and is more of a bit of interesting trivia.

You're missing Kuroko's Basketball. The anime hasn't been licensed by anyone and I'm pretty sure Viz Media only have the manga.

Indeed it has! What an interesting development. This is the best possible outcome that I could possibly ask for. Now I wonder how long it will take until we see physical copies of all these shows available. CR originally announced their home release lineup in July, so I'm hoping by Q1 next year Funimation is able to have them available in stores/online so that I could pick them up. Although I notice Funimation is really slow when it comes to home video releases. For instance, Noragami Aragato was announced in Fall of last year, and the BD is still not out which is kinda absurd. So I'm hoping we won't have to wait an entire year just to see these shows released. Funi did mention they hired more staff but I don't know if that's just for the dub side or if that encompasses the distribution side as well.

It isn't unusual for the publisher in Japan to insist on a long delay for a Blu-ray release, since unlike DVD, Japan and the US share the same disc region. That opens the road for reverse importation and resale within Japan.

Kadokawa is especially "bad" in that regard, which is why their titles will sometimes come out DVD only first, with the BD coming much later.

That said, there is only so much Funimation can do to push extra product out the door. Even when CR was handling this on their own, I remember responding to someone that I would be surprised if any of the titles were available for sale on home video by the end of the year.

Doing a quick check, Funimation's solicitations currently extend out to November of this year (which itself appears to be a full month), so it seems doubtful anything from CR would come out before December. Once again, I would consider even that to be optimistic.

Even AoA, who distributes for their parent company, deals with a lengthy wait for their physical releases(albeit a slightly smaller one).
