Hey Everyone, I recently just got my first manga called Real Account and just wanted to see if anyone has already read and would like to discuss the manga?

I just now finished the first three chapters. I have to say that its really got me hooked. Its relatable to real life is why I like it. The manga is about social media and how people view and use it in the story and in the real world. It has similar plot points like in Sword Art Online or Battle Royale.

The manga is actually quite stupendous. One of the greatest social commentaries I've read that doesn't go overboard with an overarching bland message. It gets even better down the road, but it's best to keep that a secret for now.

I really liked it when I first got into it a year ago. While it's going to obviously be compared to the likes of other "die in the game, you die in real life" anime I was surprised how interesting, and fresh it felt. Like Upbringer I won't spoil anything else, but I'm very curious to buy the manga after a certain twist happens.

The main reason I like this over other in it's genre, or at least why I feel it's fresh, is that the twists come in strong and actually affect the characters and plots, but there's also this sense of consequences having weight.

@ TheUpbringer: @ blzreaper7: Yeah, the story has its own way of drawing the reader in and making it about social media makes it even better. Since you both have read it before, I was also wondering if either of you knew how many books are out right now? I got the book at Barnes and Nobles and they only had the first three books so I was not sure if I had to wait awhile for the other books or not.

Its a good manga. There were a few thread about it before 1-2 years ago that never picked up any steam/fandom. It's a good manga if you love reading because it's a manga that surprises you with strategy. I love the game selections.

I have read all 3 volumes of Real Account so far and honestly I was surprised to see a forum about it. It isn't very widely known but I feel once people compare it to SAO it will gain momentum. I prefer this series over SAO and that is because there is an underlying note about social media.

Would I say it was the best manga I've ever read? No. Would I say it was the worst? No. I'd recommend it to anyone who does like SAO.

@ExecuteU2: You basically summed up why I like the series thus far. I'm really hoping that people will check out the series sooner or later just so there are more people to talk to about the series
