>> It's great to see a fellow Austen fan! :] I am absolutely hooked on Pride and Prejudice. Sense and Sensibility is so far, a good book. I'm still reading it an I am just about finished. Was Emma a good read? Persuasion is very intriguing though I haven't gotten around to reading ti though I have the book.

>> Atonement is a wonderful piece of literature, I daresay. I haven't watched the movie but the book is totally awesome and intriguing and very promising. I'm a big fan of historical novels and well, it is set in the WWII circa so was really interested in it.

>> The Partner is a really good book. My brother and I loved it. He's a lawyer and I'm an aspiring lawyer. XD

Any books you recommend?

Some books that I recommend that I think is not listed here yet are:
The Sevenwaters trilogy:
1. Daughter of the Forest
2. Son of Shadows
3. Child of Prophecy

author: Juliet Marillier
genre: mainly Fantasy
It is about three generations of one family enduring in their lives to pave the way in fulfilling a prophecy. It is about self-discovery, faith, love, and time.
If you love old Irish or anything Irish at all.... read it. :)
If you love retelling children's bedtime stories/fairy tales in a different, perhaps, more mature way... read it, specially the 1st book.
If you love reading about gods and goddesses of the earth/nature... read it!!!
Read it!!!

The Twelve Kingdoms (Specially the Youko Arc):
1. Shadow of the Moon, a Sea of Shadows
2. A Thousand Leagues of Wind, the Sky at Dawn
3. The Shore in Twilight, the Sky at Daybreak

author: Fuyumi Ono
genre: Fantasy
recommended translator and site: Eugene Woodbury at http://www.eugenewoodbury.com/
It's there to read with no charge... :)
The story is about a seemingly ordinary student who was suddenly spirited away into a foreign land whilst being chased by an enemy. After being stranded alone, she fends for herself and embarks on the a journey to find the man who brought her to this foreign land. Through this journey, she made friends and learned more about herself... The story begins from there... Quite similar to the anime version, but different as well wherein she was truly alone on the start of the story...
If you like animals who are like people... Read it. :)
If you like philosophical-political stuff... Read it. :)
If you like youmas/demons/monsters... Read it. :)
Read it!!!
