Episode 3

Ah Silver Mask/Hilmes' background story...
Good stuff and it's interesting to see a somewhat gentle personality coming from him.

I think it was rather predictable that Daryun and the others would stand by Arslan's side rather than obeying the King's orders.

Episode 3

First half was the backstory of Hilmes and it's good to know that revenge isn't his only motive.

Second half focused on Arslan's exile since he pretty much got kicked out in the last one. Good to see his comrades escaped and went to his aid.

The next episode will have a water themed city, so I can't wait for that!

Nice episode with King Mandate the prince has been almost banished to raise an army by himself but his loyal friends risk treason to follow the true heir to the throne. I wish this anime would go on for long time 8 eps is almost a joke. Next week we get to see a Navy? Port town awaits

Was surprised to see a bit of Hilmes backstory, and at first felt a little cheated to not get started right away with what's happening with Arslan. But just a few minutes in and I wouldn't have minded if they spent the whole episode on Hilmes.

I was also surprised at the direct way Daryun and Narsus chose to support Arslan after initially giving lip service to the king. I thought they'd stay back with the king for a while at least.

Am sad this will be only 8 episodes. I hope there will be more coming along in the future.

I would rather have Hilmes as a protagonist than Arslan.

It was nice to see more backstory on Hilmes. Definitely humanized him more and gave us a better understanding of his character. It's getting tougher to root for just one side or the other now, especially since so many more facets are being shown.

omg Arslan with Gieve's earring <3<3 so cute.

I half ship them. I don't even know.

So I hope the next episode gets to Izumo Kusanagi - I mean, Shagad (I think?)

Because Takahiro Sakurai. <3<3

Those ED/OP clips, though, with him and Narsus.

Episode 4

That was well...interesting.

The world building of the series remains high interest for the story with Gilan's society being explored a bit. The part about slavery is what's on Arslan's mind as well. Also, I think it's interesting that they introduced Shagad, a friend and probably rival(?) for Narsus. The conversation they had implies that Shagda favors slavery because he is a merchant and depends on it to make wealth.

Also from one of the conversations, I suspect that someone in Gilan is secretly feeding info to the pirates judging on their coordination. A wild guess...

Nice episode love to see the adventures make it to the ocean and a port city. Arslans notices slave labor right away even though its abolished in his creed to Pars. Merchant ship is attack and the prince crew come to help I can see new allied with the captain maybe? Not sure I trust Shagad a friend of Narsus from his day of school to soon to lower guard
