Not bad. Some cute girls and decent comedy with a hint of drama. Their eccentricities make them endearing in different ways. Will be back for more.

Just started watching this and three minutes in there's a series of major red flags flying all over the place for this one.

Unlike a lot of people I associate with, I don't really have a problem with moe. The moe aesthetic has never really bothered me; in fact, i usually like it because simple, cute, round-faced, innocent-looking characters appeal to me. But I think maybe New Game is taking it a little too far. I mean, except for Aoba, they're probably all supposed to be in their 20s, right? So...why make them all look like middle schoolers?

I dunno, it's just not setting right with me.

Welcome to anime in 2016. I don't even really notice any more.

I normally don't either, it's just that in this particular instance, it kind of really sticks out because Aoba is supposed to look so much younger than the rest of the cast but...doesn't.

It's all just as expected from the description and PV. It has nice art and VA's with an awesome protagonist. I'm not expecting anything extraordinary out of this, but it seems like a lot of fun. Comedy is great, especially that gun scene. Gif plis.

20+ year olds who look like twelve year olds is the future of anime you guys! I don't know what the issue is.

In all seriousness, I need at least one chill, moe anime that I don't need to think too hard about while watching, and it looks like this is the one for me, this season. Ridiculously young looking adults aside, I can get behind these girls and their personalities. It's likely not going to be a masterpiece, by any stretch of the imagination, but I think it will be pretty enjoyable anime, regardless.

Probably my most anticipated anime of this season. Been a big fan of the manga for the past year. I even based my fight stick after it.

All fun and games in the office.

The characters are fun so it doesn't bother me that the adults do look like high school students while Aoba looks like a middle school student. At the end, I thought she was going to ask why they hired her, but it was a different question instead.

The animation reminded me a lot of Three Leaves, Three Colors, and sure enough it is being done by the same studio! Loved Three Leaves, so I'm hoping to love this one also.

I'm hoping it won't be too moe-shit.

Mostly harmless... but if they continue the trend of driving the same joke into the ground, I won't be around long.

Now that I have watched the first episode, I am cautiously optimistic. Slice-of-life at the world's most unlikely video game company (i.e. a clean workspace with cute girls instead of a shithole full of sweaty, unwashed guys)? Okay, I'll give it a try, though I do have to agree with Mythril Moth: It feels like the characters are the same age as the ones in Is the Order a Rabbit? That would not be jarring by itself, since that is the style nowadays (see what I said above), but when they take a substantial amount of time to discuss their ages, that really brings attention to the discrepancy.

So it's delayed release on CR, huh....

Get to hear the ED for the show in ep 2. Pretty nice. Looks like everyone but Aoba can drink, kinda sucks to not be able to in a drinking party.

Great show, though. Liked the manga too. Doga Kobo is really the right studio for this show.

Episode 2

Aoba may be 18, but she's still two years away from being able to drink and even so, looking like a kid is going to make servers refuse to serve alcohol. She nearly had a drink, but she was interrupted at the last second. That was pretty funny seeing Toyama getting so drunk and out of it. Aoba's time may come, but now is not the time to do so. Next time, Aoba runs into a lot of trouble along the way.

Episode 2

Hey, we got some information about the gaming production. Not bad.

I do like to joke around with these series on how they have tea parties and don't work when they're supposed to, lol.

Episode 2

Hifumi is too adorable, I hope that hedgehog makes a physical appearance this season.

And let's face it, we wanted to see all the girls getting drunk for the lulz
