Of course the correct answer is cat girls. Is there really a question to be asked here?

Cat girls, transitioning tech for trans-individual like me, genetic diseases and stuff, a cure for albinism, naturally increased melanin production, artificially made DNA, multi-color hair, and designer babies.

Edit: And a cure for baldness, and grey hairs, and no more ridiculous body hair that makes grandpy look like a yeti. There is a lot of stuff I would like to see out of stem cell tech as well.

If everything goes to hell that yeti hair will keep him alive in the winter without heat.

I know you want cat girls

I knew this one was going to be in there because it was the first thing that popped into my mind.

If I couldn't have cat girls then I'd love to have cats and dogs that could speak to us and have vocal chords. It would just be nice if I could ask them how they're feeling, especially if they are sick. I just had to help my old black lab cross over to the other side so she wouldn't be in any pain. She had cancer and we didn't hesitate and went ahead and had her put to sleep based on our vets recommendation even though she didn't seem to be in any pain but knowing her she would have followed us to hell and back without a complaint so it would be nice if they could at least tell me when they don't feel well. I feel horrible knowing that she may have had this cancer for a while and I never knew it. There were literally no warning signs other than her drinking a little more water than normal but I thought that was due to the heat this time of year. So yeah, vocal chords on pets would be super nice. Although I may have to pass on that one for my cats. I'm not really sure I want to know what they're thinking. That's a scary thought. I'm pretty sure world domination is in their little minds somewhere right after tuna and large man servant (me).

removal of serious genetic diseases from our genes such as cancer, diabetes, heart conditions, etc/overall improved health. as well as increased intelligence and physical ability. maybe post birth genetic engineers could be a idea able to change your genes after your born possibly if you mutated a undesirable trait example environmental factors caused you to develop cancer despite not having inherited the genes for it.as well as being able to add traits you want your body to have also judging by other comments im guessing cat ears tails etc would be a popular example. also make it available for everyone at least with the health benefit ones well ones that are more cosmetic could be ones you have to pay for.

Biological Immortality

Cheap, renewable energy.

Endless supplies of disease resistant crops capable of growing in salt water and a wide range of environmental conditions.

People complain about things being unfair even in this world without genetically engineered superhumans.

Mate that whole paragraph of yours kinda comes off as all Third Reich like ya know.

As for me well it's really irrelevant. I mean I could go with my personal choice of cat girls but messing with evolution to create a whole new species that hitherto only exited in the screens and pages of fiction before is a bit much.

And while I am all for humanity improving itself physically, mentally , and spiritually I don't think we've the right to force true sentience and will upon our cats .

It really does sound Third Reich like.

But aliens forced sentience upon a bunch of apes creating humanity! Why shouldn't we do the same to some other species we took a liking to?
