I don't get it. Aren't you supposed to be searching for imoutos to kidnap adopt? A yaoi convention would be a strange place to search. Do you want a fujoshi as your imouto?

Pretend you're an actual fan and this might work. Research a list of popular titles in advance if you get asked about your faves.

Although this might backfire if they want to go into discussion about it. Lol

Trying to pick up fujoshis in full Yaoi mode at a BL convention. You really are a man without fear.

There was some K-drama with a heterosexual guy that was mistaken as gay, and so managed to get close enough to win the girl's heart...so it may work.

Good luck

I'd assume you were gay, and if you told me you were straight I would assume

1. Hyper-super-ultra closeted
2. Joking
3. Kinda creepy

I'm going to quote Courage in this:

The things I do for love.

But seriously, if you are going to a Yaoi Con, you need to be prepared... and I'm not talking about knowing some Yaoi Anime/Manga/Doujin, I'm talking about being the Uke... but yeah, I wish you the best of luck~ and if they ask you about Yaoi, talk about Sport Anime (in general... and if you know one, of course); they all know that Sport Anime = Yaoi.

Remember that a lot of Fujoshis WILL and ALWAYS want to be the Seme, but you shouldn't have any problem with that... also, by the end of the day, you may have much more tolerance toward Yaoi (and if you already have, well, congrats~)... I'm saying you this by my experiences. It may be useful, it may be useless, time will tell; but nonetheless, at least try to enjoy yourself. I know it may be Yaoi and all of that, but a Con is a Con, you will surely find a lot of great people there... so I guess that's it, good luck ._./

P.S: "Nyandere"? Damn, I would love to see that xD

I am going to say both. They are probably going to assume you are gay, but be honest with them. Be romantic towards them.

They will just assume your either gay or bi.

Either way do it if you want, I don't think you'll gain much in doing so tho

Absolutely not. That's not the reason I go to conventions. If I do end up at a yaoi convention, I'm all about meeting fujoshis and sharing my enthusiasm for that stuff. All of that about romancing random women is just something I never think about at a place like this. There is a time and place for those kings of things, but a yaoi convention is not exactly the appropriate place for that kind of business seeing that three days goes by so quickly that I wouldn't realize that there's only so much time there to do stuff and getting romantically involved isn't on my to-do list.

No Shok, fujoshis do not always want to be the seme. I consider myself to be a fujoshi but I'd never want to be the seme.
