I started tearing up as soon as the projection started... I feel like, just like the Junker guy, I've become attached to her. Now I'm dreading what happens next week.

Damn. The more I think about Yumemi's situation, the sadder I become for her. At least, she was able to share that special projection with the Junker. But their brief encounter will soon come to an end.

Planetarian: The Reverie of a Little Planet EP 3 / Yumemi's Projection

What an episode Yumemi she is a trooper / her eyes even though mechanical were very deep and soulful What a great story she told.after the power ran out . Then at the end she even has a sense of humor yes I am a liitle broken after Junker asked Are You Craz because she wanted to escort him to his car because he said he wasnt feeling well.

The animation was amazing in this episode, Yumemi stated that was her Reverie

Those eyes are very soulful. Her answer is very human

Yumemi / Voiced by: Keiko Suzuki is also doing another Key anime Rewrite as Shizuru Nakatsu

Why oh why am I still following this retro-moe throwback feels fest? Can Funimation hurry up with the simuldub please?

That aside, those were the whitest Ethiopians I've ever seen. Guess not every show can be "The Magic School Bus". Past that, its kinda refreshing to see a show that pulls off having only two characters with designs from when George Bush was president.

Episode 4

Damn, what a cliffhanger.

Some of the conversational dialogues between the robot and Junker was interesting especially regarding where robots go and what they wish for. Will robots really go to heaven? Where will they end up in the end? That's an interesting question I always wondered..

It was quite touching to see how much Junker has grown attached to Yumemi. Now its at a point where he wants to create a new life for her outside the city. Felt bad for her whenever she gave a warning about a bump and then proceed to trip on it.

I wonder how those huge robots get recharged. With such size, they must consume a lot of energy. There should be a generator nearby that Yumemi could use.

Agree with everything you said. I have also been wondering where those mech units get their energy from if the city is running out. Perhaps that's why Junker and Yumemi weren't troubled by any of the smaller units, they're already out of energy. Would be nice to think that without humans to maintain their energy eventually a lot of problems solved themselves.

But still wonder about the big picture here and how this will end, as next ep. is the last. I would so hate to have end up feeling incomplete and dissatisfied after really having enjoyed this so much. So I'm crossing my fingers and hoping they can wrap it up with the same wonderful style as everything else in the anime.

Yume should dream big, bring humans back to the city and open up her own planetarium; a thousand years from now Yume episode would be nice.

Episode 4

Yumemi just wants to keep on serving humans, which is why she is following the junker to his car seeing that the planeterium is now out of juice, and pretty soon Yumemi herself will, too. That was pretty amusing to see her give him a tour of the district as if it were still in operation, all while the junker just wants to get his hands on some booze. Then there's that cliffhanger at the end as that android blew up the building he was in. One more episode left, and it will be interesting to see how things play out.

Hmmmm. I am wondering IF the Junker destroys the brains of the Spiderbot could they use its batteries to recharge Yumemi?

The Junker did mention that he could buy a "recharger unit" but they are very expensive. There must be energy available, but the transportation thereof could be based on physical transport rather than wiring - possibly because all the wire has been salvaged?

Planetarian: The Reverie of a Little Planet EP 4 /Drunk with Alcohol

You can feel the emotions now! As Junker tries to leave the city he wants to take Yumemi with him as could prbally build a power station and a small prpjector sh she vcould show the sky to survivors, However Junker is at the Quartine wall and a fire mech is on guard . He fires a grenade but it is a dud and the mech fires up a railgun and fires at Junker.

Interesting how Yumemi has a srong belief in God / Heaven and would not want robats humans seperated in heaven > He asks her is she would do that ans serve humans besides at the planterium.

Yumemi is just so adorable! Even when falling down.

Her belief in God / Heaven

Junkers future plans for both of them
