Being raised in a ukrainian family, where Cabbage rolls and pierogies are a staple diet in my life, they definitely deserve more praise.

Clear or stock...
Stock doesn't really taste very good the first few times, but it really does grow on you over time in my opinion.

Cheese. It's had so many spinoffs that it's hard to imagine what the original cheese was even like. I also find it appalling that people consider it a topping or minor flavor enhancer on foods.
