Episode 1

Neat episode, the OP song has small bits of fan service which is kinda funny. Usami is also quite adorable, a bit of an airhead but cute.

The art is refreshing (silly in a way as well). Kinda expected a lot of blushing in this as well. I think the show is rather laid-back in ways too and pretty straightforward in terms of storytelling. Glad to see that they adapted the art in style as it's part of the series' themes. A good start so far.

Episode 1

What a club this is. The club president sleeps, and Uchimaki is in the club just to paint waifus seeing that he has no interest in 3D girls. It's no wonder Usami is not too pleased about what has become of the art club. But of course, she would rather have him than not seeing that she went through a lot of emotional pain at the thought of him quitting. That's a solid start to this, and certainly Uchimaki can paint even if he is better suited for a manga club than an art club.

This Art Club Has A Problem Episode 1

A very strong start. A boy on a quest to draw the ultimate 2D waifu, an adorable air head cuty, a lazy president who sleeps all the time and someone hiding in the locker that nobody noticed. Likable cast of characters with fantastic animation and art. All then waifus drawings looked so good. The soundtrack was spot on aswell, helped to create a very light hearted, laid back atmosphere. This is definitely one summer romance to keep an eye on, straight into my top 5.

Very happy that this got picked up, for a time it looked like it wasn't gonna be picked up by anybody and going of the first episode.... that would have been sad.

Episode 1

Not sure if the comedy is for me, but I'll stick with it and see how it turns out.

Also, a screenshot of how I felt about the episode..

Really enjoyed the first episode, though I'm a little concerned that the content will hold up over a full season of full length episodes. It may have been more suited to a Short format. We'll have to see how it develops especially once more characters get involved. I can't wait for the redhead with the glasses. Yum.

Oh, and the OP and ED songs were great. I don't think I'll be skipping either any time soon.

That was strange but I guess I'll watch it for now. Why was there a girl just locked in a locker....?

So many great things about this anime. The president, the 2D waifu dream, the advisor who said one line then vanished and usami personality is very likable. Definitely add to my queue.

So not sure if I should bother with this, the plot in the manga makes fuck all progression, but the comedy is right in my alley and there is always the possibilty of them going a little faster with the adaptation including rewriting the story to be better.
I guess I'll put it on the back burner for now.

Usami not a fan of the waifus man

I've been following the manga for a while now, excited to see it animated.

Also I knew Usami voice sounded familiar, that's because it's the same voice as Chiyo from Nozaki-kun!

So far, I enjoy Usami's character, she is pretty cute and I feel like her voice actress did a great job.

I always find the guys who proclaim themselves "to be into 2D girls only" unrelateable. I love my 2D Waifu's but maybe not quite as much as the next guy. At the very least, not to the point that I can view them as a legitimate replacement for real waifu. I feel like they take it a little too far.

Still the first episode wasn't too bad, this should be fun to watch.

Episode 1: These People Have Problems | Goodbye, Uchimaki-kun

I like this show. For some reason and it might be just me or if anyone can back me up on this but my goodness the animation was really fluid for a type of show like this.

Usami is great, she's a nice Tsundere, not too Tsun and all the more cute when she's not honest. Very nice. Also locker-chan never made an appearance this episode besides low-key hiding in that locker.

I like the main guy. He has the right mindset. There is no one true waifu. You must keep creating waifus, until you can waifu them all. Waifu GO when? XD

Anyways looking forward to more. It was surprising how much I liked this.

This Art Club Has a Problem EP 1 / "People Who Have A Problem" / "Goodbye, Uchimaki"

That is one messed up art club.

Usami / Uchimaki / President

Uchimaki can be serious!
