Damn, Yumeko is too great. Want more. The last segment was really good as well. As for the second segment, Colette just isn't really growing on me as a character that can carry a segment all by herself so any time she's the focus things just seem to drag.

I liked the second segment though. Not because of Colette but because of Moeka and her mom. That was cute af. "You're out"

Episode 4

Tachibana-sensei sure got more than she bargained for with this club as she becomes the new club advisor. She sees the kind of things that go on with Usami and Uchimaki drawing very different versions of her. Then Colette is trying to stay in the shadows, and then Usami and Uchimaki exchange phone numbers after Uchimaki had to give a printout to Usami. That was pretty fun, and Tachibana fits in quite well with this club of misfits.

This show is slowly creeping it's way into my top 3 of the season.

love the cast, the animation, the voice actors. All of it. just can decide who I like More. Mizuki or Tachibana. And we haven't even met Maria yet!

And yes Mizuki's mom stole the show for her segment!

Is there any romance and drama in it i love animes that have that

It's sort of low level junior high school romance and drama, nothing that really totally defines the series. It's more of a typical slice of life show. Still, if you're not someone who needs your anime to have a definitive story and end goal then it is pretty good and is very funny.

I will give it a try

*Spoiler Alert*
I'm caught up with the manga so I can already guess that the ending of this show won't make me satisfied, haha..
For those of you guys who don't know, the manga isn't finished either, so if you're shipping anyone together, eh well..:/
Don't really know what the outcome is!

True. It was a slow build but that moment definitely hit right. While the "punch line" was a little predictable it still wasn't the sort of moment you'd expect in a series like this so far. Played a little less openly comedic and a little more emotionally straight.

Episode 1

Finally got around to watching the first episode. The first episode was good I liked the members of the art club Usami, Uchimaki and the President. It's funny how Uchimaki only reason for joining is to draw the ultimate waifu and Usami getting mad cause he's not taking serious. I like the opening but not so much the ending.

Episode 2-4

First starts of with Uchimaki and the president ruining Usami painting and trying to hide from her. Then a sleep over with one of her friends and she tells her how she started liking him. In the end Uchimaki gets a love letter and gets advice from Usami how to turn her down. They even show that Uchimaki is interested in drawing lolis so he could be a lolimaki, but so far from it so nothing to worry.

Episode 3

We get introduced to Colette the other member of the art club and boy is she funny. Well she loses her locket and Uchimaki helps her find it but after looking turns out she had in her pocket the whole time. The next part Uchimaki is having trouble drawing the hair to his next waifu and gets help from Usami and Colette but when that doesn't help Usami buys a magazine with different hair styles. The last part Kaori and the rest of Usami friends go with her to her club and that's where Kaori cones up with the idea to draw Usami and Uchimaki together. They even made a contest that the one to draw them would have to buy drinks and guess who lost? After Kaori buys everyone a drink she gives Uchimaki a different drink cause the one he wanted wasn't there but he doesn't like carbonated drinks, so she gives him hers that she already drank from but just as he was about to drink it Usami takes it and drinks it. To get back at her he drinks hers but he's so dense he doesn't get that it was a indirect kiss.

Episode 4

The art club gets a new advisor Tachibana-sensei who takes over since the old advisor takes over the newspaper club. Her first day doesn't go so well when Collete doesn't believe she's a team and then the Prez and Uchimaki give a bad impression. It all turn out great once they wake up the Prez and he is able to talk to her while the other two draw her. She turns out like the portrait they made and is glad to take over. The next part we have Collete going out for a walk and runs into the braided girl who turns out to be the granddaughter of the old club advisor. The last part we meet Usami's mother who's really funny being noset in her daughters business.

All caught up now time to wait for next week.

The little girl is Moeka, the same one that Usami and Subaru helped in the 2nd episode (I think that was the right episode). And Collette is just really that short.

Episode 5

Another funny episode, I love how the misunderstandings built one one top of each other until everyone got confused for the first half. Oh silly Colette, she kinda started it all when she was messing with that head model.

Funny second segment too. I kinda like how they take the imagination of their minds and made that art while cleaning the pool. The awkward moment when they couldn't get the paint off though....

We're only coming up on the halfway point in the season but I have high hopes that this'll continue to be a best comedy/best OP/best cast of summer kind of anime. I enjoy it a lot.

The art that they did on the pool was really cool and the scene was really cute and fun. I wish we got a scene at the end where the teachers come out and they actually love it and want to keep it. Yumeko-sensei is kawaii sensei.

Next episode the twin tails transfer girl appears to be pretty chuuni, I'm looking forward to it!

Episode 5

Colette is such a crazy girl and Yumeko is quick to misunderstand things after seeing that head that Colette painted. Then this pool cleaning assignment ends up turning into an opportunity to paint a mural in the canvas to be washed off. Except that the president had a brain fart and brought oil-based paint that won't wash away. The painting looks great, and certainly it would be a waste to have to wash it away. Those club members sure do have a lot of attitude, and even more so when Maria comes in to transfer into the school and join the art club.

Episode 5

So, I haven't realized it until now, but this show is just dumb fun and is good at animating it too.

The first bit with the misunderstandings was all over the place and the second bit with the pool had some fan service and nice art, which surprised me.

It seems the show isn't about taking art seriously, but just having fun with it and that's fine. Crazy dumb fun can be good if executed right. Also, sensei is kinda hot.
