Wash by hand as its more thorough and I don't have a dishwasher anyway.

My Grandma or her caretaker never really cleaned the dishes well. I'd find leftover lipstick or chunks of food on the dishes. Gross, right? I'd prefer to get all of that off. Dishwashers can't do that.

Live alone, so I haven't bothered with a dishwasher as yet though I've thought about it. Besides, it has been my experience, that often there are issues with cleanliness with a dishwasher that there just aren't when doing them yourself.

When washing dishes, I prefer to wash them by hand; however, if one is available, I usually put my dishes in the dishwasher after hand-washing them to ensure they are completely clean.

Hand wash, why waste the excessive water a dishwater uses it's ecologically unsound. If your lazy ass can't stand a few minutes of dish washing by hand then you've failed as a human being.

Window wash.....when done let the dog lick off the remainder, then toss dish out window into a dumpster. Yea, landfills. Sure gets cold during the winter nights though what with all that chill wafting in should I forget to shut the window. It's a crap shoot: leave window open 24/7 for efficiency or risk window replacement periodically because of inconvenience getting off my lazy ass to get up to open / close it. Pesky mosquitoes are a problem too during warmer climes re open window policy. Currently doing cost analysis to see if living in a mental institution is cheaper than exercising civil liberties outside with this frikkin' window.
