Take off the rose-tinted glasses. Everything that you see from now, from the BLM movement to the idiot shooters that have realized their mistake by now, is going to point as far away from the movement as possible. Do you know what a martyr is?

I am not going to form any conclusions that the available information doesn't support.

In other words, you're either not able or not willing to critically think? Then I think I am done, here.

Perhaps you can explain why I should believe something when there is currently no evidence to support it.

I said to believe something not supported by evidence? Or did I say to not take everything that you are told at face value?

You're telling me to believe the shooter was associated with Black Lives Matter. Where's the evidence for that?

Maybe I misunderstood something. Tell you what, just elaborate on when you first addressed me on the previous page. That should save us both some time and effort from this back-and-forth.

What did we expect would happen? For a couple years now media, government officials, and social elites have been propagating a campaign of hate and denigration towards law enforcement.

As someone has previously said, things are going to be getting a lot worse because of this.

It's a self-inflicted wound. How many more of these crimes committed by police have there been that have never been reported? It's just finally starting to see the light of day.

How many crimes committed towards police never get media coverage?

It's in their job description. They respond to crimes... So that tit for tat stuff doesn't make sense. Cops getting shot at is not the same as innocent people being intentionally killed by cops.

"Black Lives Matter" should really be shut down. If they'd like to protest police brutality, that's fine, but making it a race issue is seriously messed up. Police brutality happens to people of all races and we don't know the real reasons for any statistics showing blacks as more likely targets. There are explanations besides "racist cops" for it.

It's a huge problem when people look at a situation and complain that something like police brutality is dangerous for blacks. No, it isn't, it's dangerous for everyone. They should be thinking about everyone. When they only complain about how it affects blacks, it makes everyone else uncomfortable, like they're not being considered as part of the same community. That's not the spirit of "Black Lives Matter", but that's what it's being seen as, because of how they address problems as if those problems don't exist for non-blacks.

Commonly, they say that whites don't understand their little plights. No, I definitely understand what it's like to have to obey the police, and I understand that I'm at their mercy, and I would obviously like them to be held accountable for how they treat me, so I hopefully won't have problems like many other white victims of police brutality have had. For that matter, even the police understand the issue, and they don't like police brutality, either. So, BLM should address the matter with respect for whites and the police, stop insulting them by calling them ignorant, and change their stupid name to not have a skin tone in it. Like they'd ever tolerate a group named "white something something".

I just think the way they handle things only upsets people and causes incidents like this shooting in Dallas. It's really beneath us.

you said it better than I could

Whether or not it's something they have to be prepared to face does not negate the fact that 5 cops just died for no reason.
