Wow, this show is simply crazy. The choreography of the fights is pretty awesome. Interesting puppet show to say this least, you got my attention.

Just got round to watching episodes 0 and 1, and I have to say... that was about a billion times better than expected. I didn't necessarily think it would be bad, nor did I think I wouldn't enjoy it (I used to be a massive Thunderbirds fan), but it turned out to be just... pure awesome. The fight scenes were without a doubt the best part, but the music and effects were equally amazing and added so much to it. On top of that the voice acting worked really well, you can really appreciate what they discuss in the Episode 0 about the voice actors. To top it all off, even the plot was pretty good, I thought that the plot would be pretty subpar for some reason, but it was actually solid and engaging.

I'm definitely coming back for more lol

I'm going to echo the Thunderbirds sentiment. The action sequences are amazing, doubly so given it's with puppets. These puppeteers would make Jim Hensen's jaw drop. The CG effects blend perfectly. And the seiyu's are bringing their A-game.

Don't let that this isn't animated deter you from giving it a try. I think you'll be very pleasantly surprised.

This was pretty cool. For some reason it didn't quite grab me as much as I thought it would but it was still very enjoyable.

I didn't know what to expect. Those puppets and props and scenery are gorgeous and I was amazed at both the action scenes (which moved a bit uncomfortably fast) and the more subtle movements while characters merely conversed. Special effects were also nicely done. I'm glad CR gave us the opportunity to see this joint project of Japan and Taiwan.

I started an episode of this on accident and couldn't stop laughing the entire time. Not really a big stop motion fan, nor am i a big puppet fan but maybe this will end up being ok... Doubt ill watch anymore however.

Was someone playing with their anime figures one day and thought "Im gunna film this and add some special effects!" Super weird. Although a round of applause to the staff, this looks like itd be a lot of hard work and a lot of the effects and animations are actually really cool.

Seems like a novelty though, doubt many people will watch past the first episode, and i hate to say it but it probably still would be more interesting if it were a traditional anime.

Episode 0 explains this in the opening minutes, it's a traditional form of theater in Taiwan called "budaixi" that they've just adapted to Japan. It's a straight up wuxia drama, definitely not a novelty (except for Americans). It's not the first show to do this kind of thing, although it's definitely one of the more sophisticated.

This is easily one of the shows I've been most excited about since I'm not even sure when. Hell I'd love to see more modern wuxia dramas with effects that great; but I guess it's a bit easier to do cool looking sword fights when you don't have to worry about clumsy actors.
