I don't care what anybody says. I found this adorable!

I am really glad they address the language translation and the "proper" way to dress back in the day. I have seen a lot of time travel shows where they don't really address these issues (there are some), but I am really glad they point it out and poke fun at it. Also interested in seeing where the plot with her friend and friend brother goes, giving us something else beside "lets have a fun time in a different period" episodic type of show.

I do have a theory as to why she can understand english. i think it has something to do with the fact that she was looking at the book that was in English, and saying to her self that she could understand it. Looking at the picture of William Gilbert, she is then teleported to that time period being able to verbally talk english. Looking at books and being transported to a place reminds me of the plot to the "Magic Tree House Series".

Episode 2

Times sure were tough back then seeing that the church had all the power and even if they discovered the truth, those running renegade to religion are executed. Gilbert came up with the hypothesis in regards to why the needle points north, and it was with Mari's spherical cake that Gilbert came up with the idea to prove that the Earth is magnetic. That segment there at the end is pretty cute and informative seeing that there's no way a magnet could withstand the extreme heat underneath the surface of the planet.

Well that didn't really improve for me at all with the second episode. I'm bowing out on this one now.

It's well...how do I say it? Fantasy realism? I mean, the event of the past with Gilbert and his discovery has a good amount of insight based on his knowledge. But then, we got the time travel stuff. So Mari also managed to get back to her timeline. I have a feeling she'll be visiting the past again to discover more historical events.

I like it! I'm one of those "boring" people who loves a good documentary about history and science, so it makes sense.

It's funny that Mari comes off as not that intelligent, but she's probably going to help all these big names solve their problems... and casually rewrites history .

Episode 3

I think I like Benjamin Franklin a bit more now in this anime lol. Didn't know he was a womanizer.

Meanwhile, I think the episode did a neat job with Mari meeting characters from the past. We got the famous Kite experiment this week, wonder what else she'll discover on her time travel journey.

Episode Two:

When they mentioned the church in this episode: it makes me think of the current anti-science trends moving through our government here in the USA. It's good that they brought it up in this episode the way they did.

lol this show is funny in its own ways...

It was indeed rumored that Kranklin had lots of other women and he prefered older He wrote this letter to a friend in 1745 titled "Advice to a Friend on Choosing a Mistress." implicate him somewhat
That artlicle can be found in his book...Poor Richard's Almanac. I am getting that book

Funny how science and religion was shown here but its actually pretty good
and they picked Miki san to voice Benjamin making him sound more flirtacious

That was a really short trip to the past in comparison to before.

It is pretty cool so see someone go back and influence history. Would Franklin have not stood up to slavery in this universe if Mari hadn't gone back?

I love the little "Science Theatre" bits at the end with the chibis.

I just watched the first 3 episodes in a row and I really like it. It reminds me of the various shows I watched when I was a kid that was focused on making science, history of even human biology accessible and easily understood by childrens. (Complete with the science theatre at the end).

PS: It would not be a good history related show tough, since Mari is influencing her timeline...

I wonder how many "versions" of her father is running around time at the moment?

Another quick one episode arc. I'm still enjoying the littler lessons after the ED. It really makes you wonder if the historic figures understood how much they shaped the future?
