No, but I've had my fair share of goat milk from old family friends who owned goats.

I still can't get used to the taste. lol

Baaaa

It's EATEN, goats go "Mehhhh" (sheep go "Baaa"), and yes, we have African restaurants in our college town.

A light flavor, not as tender as lamb, but stewable--Tried one in a tomato-yam stew from the restaurant, and it was good, but since it was my first time with an unfamiliar food, came down with a bad case of Heidi's Revenge afterwards.

I've never had goat, but I have eaten alpaca when I was in Peru and wild boar when I was in Slovenia. I'll be going to South Africa for vacation this fall, I'm sure I'll try something over there. Also had elk in Alaska and I sometimes eat buffalo steak or burgers.

Yes, it was very good, just tastes like cheap lamb (if you've ever eaten lamb)... loved it nonetheless.

Of course. At a grocer in my neighbourhood you can by goat, so I've had it a few times. I didn't think that goat was one of those exotic eats.

I've had ground buffalo a few times as well, and doesn't the meat lose all it's distinct flavor when in ground form? I couldn't distinguish it from ground beef.

I can't decide if the hair or the horns would be the hardest thing to eat on a goat.
