Episode 1

And so it begins with the world ending, but for those kids they are sent to the future where the world is fully rebuilt generations later. The story begins with the Tokyo heads Ichiya and Canaria meeting up with the heads of the other two regions , but they don't get along putting the Tri-City cooperation plan to a halt. But in comes an enemy attack at Chiba, and Cana's song powers up everybody to destroy the enemy. But even though there is a battle, it's also a competition between the three cities with friendly fire involved, and Maihime totally overdoes it to get everybody in trouble. That was a pretty good start to this series. The action is great, the soundtrack is amazing, the characters are an interesting bunch, and the story has set a solid foundation.

Episode 1

How do I sum up the first episode?

I feel it's something that just looks cool. That's it. It tries to add tension and comedy, but doesn't work out.

Hmm. This one has ... potentials, IMO. Ichiya and Cana are not character types I like, but Hotaru and Maihime are, and the show, as a whole, looks and sounds very good. Great production values, and it has the benefit of being original, rather than fodder from a mobile game, LN, or VN. I think this is worth following. *adds to queue*

I kind of like anime based off mobile games, there is always an element of chaos to them like the studio had no idea what type of anime to make using the world from the mobile game.

Therein lies the problem, I think. Occasionally, we get a Rage of Bahamut: Genesis ("FAVAROOO!"), but, more often than not, we get junk, and I suspect there are reasons why so many of those types of shows never get streamed (e.g. I don't think anybody picked up Chain Chronicle).

Episode 1: Surviving World Gloria

Okay, I really like the OST for this show. The action was pretty top notch and the characters seem fun already. Except for the MC, not too fond of the extremely cocky protag. Hopefully he changes and learns how to work as a team.

The animation is pretty good, the effects are nice. It flows smoothly when it matters and basically it is pleasing to the eye so far. Also the character designs are nice.

Speaking of characters I like the red haired girl. I like the laid back attitude, but then again, Aoi Yuuki's character was pretty fun too, I might like her. Canaria seems to be the airhead, and I like airheads, they're delicious.

Anyways a nice start, and will look forward to the next one.

There's certainly nothing new to see here. But that isn't always a bad thing. After all, if we're honest with ourselves, there aren't really that many original ideas left in the world.

However, an anime that's largely based on cliches isn't necessarily a bad thing. Qualidea Code may not have anything new to bring to the table, but what it does bring, it brings in a very attractive and interesting package. I'm inclined to follow this one for a bit to see where it goes, because I did enjoy the first episode.

Well, that was a show. I mean, at least it doesn't seem like a harem so that's something. Oh, and the song Canaria sang was pretty cool. Nothing truly terrible here but also nothing even all that interesting. If I'm bored I might be back next week but we'll have to see. Might be a one and done.

Must admit after like half way through the episode I simply skipped past those moments whenever the MC guy talked as he comes off in a bad way. This might be another anime where I like some of the side characters then the MC.

really kind of bored with this one. Kind of had some hope for it because of the staff and the fact that its A-1. Feels like one of those, harem type shows where the characters wield some power that ultimately turns out to be bad.

Even though this is an original work, the premise, the characters and the setting feel like taken from any light novel that is available in the market. However I do like the fact that the MC actually has a personality and isn't an emotionless wall like Tatsuya in Mahouka nor is he a moron who for some reason gets all the girls like Hayato in Hundred, and also the fact that it isn't heavy on fan service at all, which one would expect from a show like this one.

But still this show does not have anything unique whatsoever, everything that was presented in this episode has been done before, but given how I liked some aspects of it, I´ll probably watch it when it's finished because right now I don't have a single reason to watch it each week.

I guess I'm one of the few who likes that the MC is an arrogant dick. It adds some depth to his personality.
