E1

Just like the PV video - the OST was great, and Canaria's singing bit was nice too. Action was great, but everything else was standard fare.

The budget seems to all be in the action scenes, as I felt the colour palette made the people look a bit "flat", and in places the characters looked to be on the budget side.

I found it strange that Canaria is not used to his Gravity shortcut antics by now, as I got the impression they've woken up a while back now.
MC is a bit of an ass, but he at least has the skill. Just don't keep repeating that it has to be him/amateurs...

Icchan has a long way to go to beat the Excaliber woman

What makes the kids be able to do what they want and be disorderly? Are the unknowns that easy these days that they can solo?
And no doubt their World powers have a cliched sinister secret.

I'll see how this series goes.

Maihime is a weapon of mass destruction, from the look of it. Mass EXP hog, haha.

Seems really interesting from the first episode. Also, Canaria sort of lives up to her naming inspiration... That song is really the best bit of the episode if you ask me.

This show isn't even trying anymore. Two episodes and we got fan service and swimsuits. Hotaru still my favorite out of this group but the story is shit so far.

Episode 2

And it's off to the beach where everybody is putting on swimsuits to take out an enemy hiding in the seas. But as it turns out, it's just one enemy and Ichiya manages to destroy it by listening to the waves in the ocean. That Gutoku guy is quite the pervert there. Well, this episode is a huge step down from the first seeing that there's less action and the episode was mostly about eye candy, which is not exactly the right time for that. Anyway, I'm hoping that this leads to something better down the line given what happened there at the end, but so far the story is not really building in the best possible way.

The "how many tired anime tropes can we fit into one episode" episode. This is like that other forgettable show with the magic school Trinity Seven or whatever. That also had a random out of place ninja character. Can never really get into these 13 year old boy power fantasy shows they are all the same.

I actually enjoyed the second episode much more than the first. For a potential fan service episode, they didn't go totally overboard with it and it actually gave some of the characters a chance to develop and breathe a little. I also liked that it made it very clear the show (at least at this point) isn't taking itself overly seriously. Is it anything new or unique? No. Is it anything even overly good? Not really. But is it a sort of fun time waster with some decent characters? I'd say yes.

Well... It's not a harem, at least.

Episode 2:

Getting right into it with the swimsuits. Asuha is so perfect. Best girl material right there. And she's a bit of a tsundere brocon to add on to it too. Very nice.

Not much going on this episode, fixing the bridge felt and them swimming felt like a slice of life episode in a way for some reason. Not that I didn't like it, but you would usually save these kinds of episodes for later.

I'm liking the characters though, story doesn't have much going for it so far, so the characters are really carrying it for me. And also the OST, my goodness I'm in love with it.

Looking forward to the next one.

Many tropes and MC is stuck up, but I find this one quite entertaining. Not a harem, Yay.

I do like the characters in this show, as well as the music. Animation is on par.

Not much has happened storywise, but that should change soon.

After the first two episodes this show could still going either way. Guess I'll stick with it for a while longer to see what happens.

Episode 2. Too early for a beach episode, IMO, but at least there is man service to go with the fan service. ... That being said, this show is growing on me. Liking Asoha, Hime, Hotaru, and Onii-chan (Kasumi?). Will have to see where it goes.

I fell asleep halfway through the episode.
