Going to have to agree. This might be a Silver Link show, but the character design is uninspired, IMO. (I suspect the characters look best as cards in the original mobile game.) And, though it is rare for me to say this, this is one of the times when all of the nudity was genuinely overdone. The audience is meeting these characters for the first time, and not only that, but there are too many of them, and introduced too quickly. *shakes head* The world-building is mildly interesting, but it is almost exactly the same set-up as Z / X Ignition, just with light beams and steam clouds.

Going to give this at least one more episode, but I do not expect to keep it for the season.

I seen Silver Link with no males, I was intrigued. I got about half way through, fired up foobar2000 and listened to 2 24bit albums and then came back to finish it... when you need to take a sea shanty breather you know something is horribly wrong with the show you are watching.

One more episode. If I can stomach it.

Yeah, I have to agree. It's pretty meh so far. We'll have to see if it improves in the next couple of episodes.

Episode 1

The first started off bad not really impress by it and almost the whole episode was fan service. I don't mind fan service but I rather have them wear something instead of seeing nothing but censorship it ruins it. This is just the start so it has time to improve as it goes along.

I am wondering any andall Kadokawa ob CR is such a food deal after all , Not all anime deserves to be picked up . This like cable TV bundling

I have too much to watch and I have to waste time on this / well it is gone

Ahh, so pretty much this anime's primary purpose is to sell the (in all likeliness) uncensored Blurays.

The one episode rule applies here. It is just too damaged a product to ever be worth watching.

It starts with a load of pointless exposition. Then a bunch of flying girls fighting some grey blobs and they win with the power of team work. Then it is off to the baths and where ever they live. Naked girls attempt dialogue, some flash backs, they reassure each other, seems to be a big thing with girls, lots of smiling, I forget anything that they say. Then it is off to fight in some arena against other girls to gain experience points and become stronger or something. The first introduced team of girls lose, I think and then it ends. The blue haired one seems disappointed.

It's shit basically. The fights are pointless because we know nothing about the participants. The episode breaks the cardinal rule of good fiction -show not tell- and I am not talking about skin here. Too much exposition.

Fan-service only works once the character is reasonably well known to the viewer. There should be no fan-service in the first or second episode. These beginning episodes exist to introduce the meat of the characters, that is their personalities not their naked bodies.

AVOID THIS RUBBISH!

Well it certainly didn't take long for things to get real, though with this large of a cast and this little actual development time beyond naked time info dumping it just didn't hit like it was probably supposed to. At least there was more going on this episode than last, and I don't hate where things are potentially going, but this series needs to pick the ball back up and fast (for the few people who didn't just insta-drop it after the first episode that is).

Episode 2

Oh, visiting the thread to post my thoughts and I didn't know a lot of people were hating on it so badly. I like this show, sure its not great, but I don't think it's as bad as a you guys are making it out to be.

Anyways, Saya needed to get slapped cause her and her special complex is getting out of hand. Amane is good, she may be laid back but she puts the work in while retaining a positive attitude.

Action is nice, wasn't expecting blood tbh. But it looks like they can get serious if they wanted to. Story is basic, but I like the setting or rather the universe, I think it's unique with their concepts like predicting the future and what not.

Think they are definitely hitting up the bathhouse next episode though XD. It's inevitable guys, the fanservice is always going to be there. Anyways, I'll be back next week, not sure about many others

So episode 2 and slightly better.

Whilst the enemy attacking the island while the main force away was telegraphed a mile off, the ending of dodging the defence team and taking out the alpha driver nerve centre was nicely done.

So we're left with the cliffhangerof a crystallized Amane.

Episode 2

After the first bad episode the second shows you not to underestimate this anime. We start off by seeing how Saya and Amane meet on there first day and how Saya feels about not getting strong due to Amane being lazy. She soon learns from another student that Amane is actually trying hard to not hold Saya back and regrets what she told her earlier. During this the enemy is attacking but turns out to be a diversion as the enemy got by underground and took Amane and the rest of A driver and crystallized them.

So again really good episode and yes there was fan service but it didn't cover half the episode like it did in the first. We also get some action that was not bad be some back story. If it continues like this it will turn out good not the best but just good.

The second episode has my increased my interest in the series. Being an A Driver must be really tough. In addition to supplying energy and information, they also receive splash damage from all the linked Progress. Now that all (presumably) A Drivers are out of commission, I wonder what the Progress fighters will do.

Aurora is supposed to have a supreme defense ability, but the Unknown were able to bypass it. On a side note, I do wish the Unknown design and animation be improved. Sending all their strongest fighters was a bad choice, but maybe they but too much faith in Aurora and in their intel. Next episode should be good.

This show is much better than all the people are claiming it to be giving it crappy reviews after just one episode... or in a lot of cases PART of an episode. it's not award winning by any means, but there is a lot of potential here and I love how they are incorporating the game terminology and aesthetics into it.

Episode 2

This is a much better episode than the first, but even so it's the case of making a bad show less mediocre. So this time, Saya's background is explained a bit more as she was just an ordinary person wanting to be special, and when her Exceed powers awakened, that's when she got the opportunity. An Ouroburos attacks, but it turns out that the attack was just a diversion and they were really after Amane. So with the elites drawn away that it left an opening for the enemy to crystallize Amane. Well, this show got more interesting, but not enough to hold my interest.

Bathhouse scenes in this show are complete crap. I'm not normally one to complain about censorship but it's quite excessive here. I mean hey, in the other bathhouse-centric show this season we see far, far more in every bath scene than face above the chin.

I think this show is pretty weak. I give pretty much every new show a look though, and I knew after the first episode that this one wouldn't be for me if it didn't do something unexpectedly different and wonderful.

I don't like cute girls with little girl voices (unless the girl characters are actually little girls)
I also mostly don't like magic-power school shows
and finally, I don't particularly like battle against random alien thing shows

And so the show is being dropped, and you won't have to see me hating on it here any more (probably).

That said, this episode did have more going on for it than I'd expected, and I can see where it wouldn't be half bad for folks who like cute girls at magic-power school battle aliens shows.
