It seems that the goal of the Ouroboros is to transform paying anime streamers into dirty torrenters, yes.

Seconding this. These overwrought emotional Saya moments are just like the fan service: They don't mean anything if the audience hasn't gotten invested in any of the characters.

Just like in Re:Zero thread. not enough wherewithal to quote, argue and disagree.

Just stating that I like the show a lot and I think last episode was quite enjoyable.

I get why it's not a show for everyone (mostly fan service and exploding clothes), but there are a lot of good qualities to the show as well and Saya has potential for being a great character as well.

It's funny how self-doubt becomes admirable and a source of tension in drive in characters from other show, but since this show isn't liked very much it is viewed as a source of contemption.

I just think as an anime fandom and community we can all be far too cynical at times and write things off before they are finished or given a fair shake.

I have been just as guilty of that. But, I honestly see a lot of potential in this series and the premise. The fact they were even able to take a card game and quite literally translate it to a show like this is pretty cool and clever imho.

I guess I have said my brief little piece and i will leave it at that.

To be fair, Starchy, I am still watching, and there have been quite a number of shows I have ended up enjoying despite the main character being shite.

Although I 100% agree with all of the bath scenes, cute girls, and action. I'll be a TINY bit upset if or when all the girls defeat their mind-controlled SR or EXR senpai through nakama power ups.

Nakama power ups are the reason i flame the Fairy Tail manga almost every week.

Episode 4

We get a glimpse at the first day that Almaria transferred to earth and meet Amane after accidently falling off the roof. We also get a comedy bit from two sisters on survival skills and even eating a big plate if rice balls that was random. Next part the dark world is in trouble so Saya and her group head to it to try and help. when they arrive they are greeted by Almaria's Senpai who goes toe to toe with Almaria and we even get to see her see kiss Almaria. Shit is about to get serious in the next episode. The darkness doesn't seem so bad it makes them say and act what they truly want so Sofina senpai wants Almaria's that way. Let the Yuri begin

I still contend that this show is a lot better than what people are rating it. it does not serve all the 1-2 star reviews it's getting. And how can people do reviews when the show isn't even complete yet?

Oh well, let me wipe off these crocodile tears.

I can't say it's great or particularly compelling or full of feels. But I enjoy it all the same. A light favourite perhaps.

Episode 5 - Ok episode, would be better if they cut the naked bath scenes.

Episode 5

Right from the get go we get some fan service with Lamaria and Amane bathing. We even see the two sisters from the previous episode training with grenades this time. Sofina Senpai attacks again and Almaria fights but gets easily defeated. Just when Sofina was to finish Almaria Saya shields her and encourages her to fight on. Almaria then asks her to suck her and Saya let's her with power she gets is able to beat Sofina and get her back to normal.

This was a really good episode.

I will continue to argue that this show is much better than the reviews it is getting.

It's getting better and better with the character developments. The action is getting stronger. it's just a plain fun show.

I can understand the fanservice turnoff to some, but it's really not THAT bad. There are a lot worse out there.

And while the animation isn't amazing, it's passable and in certain scenes looks good. It seems to fit the game too from what I can tell.

Anyways it was really cool to see Alma growing and getting over her blood drinking hangup. She is a legit badass. And it was good to see her bond with Saya become stronger as they try and free Amane.

Looking forward to the next ep.

Aye did those two sisters die from that grenade? It's a shame, while their segments were basically filler, I enjoyed them and hoped that they would probably be saved from the darkness one day
