Do you honestly think that would even happen? Ever? lol

Yes

The loading screen says be aware of your surroundings... I love Pokemon, but doing this to get a virtual Pikachu is sad lol

Every other post is about someone who caught their second rattata or a magikarp. Why?!

Eh, kinda. I haven't been into Pokemon since I was like 12 years old, and I've never been interested in it since. It's pretty funny seeing all of my older buddies getting into it now though.

Not tired but just surprised by the attention it's getting. Just about everyone is talking about it or playing it even those I would have never guessed were interested in Pokemon or part of it's fanbase. I'd say I'm more into Pokemon than most people I know and yet I don't play it.

I don't play it, but I like seeing some of the posts about it! One of my friends who plays it said that it is making her go to the most random locations.

Oh, why?

Do you actually prefer the Trump/Hilary BLM/Police garbage all over your feed instead?

I'm more amused how people can't tell fake news stories from real ones.

So much this. I consider it a nice reprieve from all that shit, honestly.

Evee is just so fluffy. Can't help but make you smile.

That said, consider the potential criminal uses. Won't be long before we hear about THAT. It's practically custom-made for psychopaths.
Use a pokemon lure in some out-of-the-way place and lie in wait. Inevitably some bored 20'ish year old girl will come check it out for the easy catches. Ta-da, easiest rape/murder ever.

Case in point.

(Yes I automatically think of the worst scenario. Because it inevitably happens.)

I think that Pokemon GO is a fad that will pass quickly. Nintendo still has a lot to learn about mobile gaming and how to properly implement network infrastructure. Already Pokemon GO is hounded by service interruptions and frequent reports of abnormal battery usage. A game that can't stay online and quickly drains a phone's battery has no future. Perhaps by this time next month nobody will be talking about Pokemon Go anymore.

I was, but then I decided to take a break from Facebook, so by the time I'm back on there again it'll probably be a lot more quiet and I won't have to deal with it anymore. I'm going to assume that it'll be a pretty quick fad considering unless you're on vacation and traveling all over the place, there won't be much to do after a short time.
