I see it simply like this
there was a robbery, that dude had a -larger- nose than most people so to speak
whites don't particularly have big noses as far as what was being compared
if I call the police and have to indentify someone, im going to say "he was black" or "he was white" and if I can only remember one more feature other than that, the nose ill say "well...uh..he / she had a big nose" that is simply the definition of how someone looks
int his case it was a -large- nose that -looked like- the suspect
it -just so happens- that it is a "stereotype" of black people having large noses

so tell me how you are supposed to describe someone without being "racist" or "racially profiling"

Age, distinguishing features such as height/scars/tattoos/hairstyle/jewelry/facial hair, and vehicle make/model would be things that I would be looking for were I a petrol station attendant looking for clues to give a police officer, but you do you. Nose size all the way.

I was only saying nose size if I couldn't remember anything else, like eye color- I don't look at peoples faces that often- and POSSIBLY hair color

I would like to mention that the News channels don't have an obligation to report the news ACCURATELY, there has been several lawsuits regarding that and the media news channels are considered "entertainment" and so don't report things as being true, they twist things, make it "interesting" by implying things that it could be interpreted as, but probably isn't. I think, if everyone were to analyze the news stories you see and hear about you will realize that it's true. They like to sensationalize things to grab your attention, so that you will watch their news channel or read their newspaper over anyone else's. These are businesses, they want to have customers, you, who pay attention to them, and they only way to do that is to blow things up out of proportion to grab your attention.

Sure, they are based of facts, have mostly facts, but the whole spin they put on some of these stories demonizes the Police, and that seems to be more and more common these days. It's really a shame that the news channels have so much power and influence on the public to cause riots. We all need to think for ourselves and weed through all the hype and not just let the news channels lead us around by the nose just so they can get ratings.

Shit started getting strange when his girlfriend claimed he had a PERMIT TO CARRY when the sheriff said he never applied for one. Just like the one that happened in LA, an open carry state they go "AH HA! it's an open carry state, so..." it isn't OC when you have the gun stuffed into your pocket, there are RULES.

From what I understand, he did not have an CCW, but a Permit to BUY handguns.
