This error started about a day or two ago. When viewing any video on the site, I get these weird errors on the page that seem to be related to Chromecast. I have never used Chromecast before, and haven't changed any settings recently, so it must have been a recent change in Crunchyroll or with my browser.
This happens with every video on the site, but only seems to happen when using Chrome (so I'm guessing it's indeed related to Chromecast), as when I switched to Firefox, there were no errors.
Additionally, this error only happens when I am signed into my account. When I log out, the videos display the pages they normally do for non-users.
For extra information, here is text on the page that newly shows up:
"Play on Chromecast Play on this screen
Sending to Chromecast...
An error has occurred. Please reload the page or contact customer support."
In summation, here is what I used to get the error:
-open Chrome on PC (running windows 10 latest) (tested on Chrome versions "51.0.2704.103 m" as well as the latest "51.0.2704.106 m")
-sign into my account (I'm premium if that makes a difference)
-go to webpage for any Video
Here is what it looks like
Edit: FIXED Update, I have since tried various things to fix this error, and after clearing my cache and cookies on Chrome it appears to have resolved the error.
I'm not sure why this bizzare error popped up now, or why/how it is related, but I will leave this up for the future if other users encounter a similar issue.
