Drink water, your headache can be caused by dehydration and if it's a migraine no light stimulation... I think sleeping helps.

Frustration is dependent on the cause of it, try not to get flustered and calm breathing

A shower and some music.
Sometimes I like to listen to the preaching of famous priests on YouTube.

As others have said, pain killers. Sometimes paracetamol, sometimes ibuprofen. Or for stronger head aches get ones that also contain codeine.
Plus lack of sleep and and not eating can cause head aches but most of all dehydration! as others have said, drink lots of water!
And i also saw ice packs mentioned. They can really help when you get a bad one. Maybe not make it go away but give some relief at least.

Plus get your eyes tested. Bad ete sight and eye strain can also cause headaches.

Most of the people in my family get migraine headaches, in addition to basic tension headaches, sinus headaches, and weekend headaches.

If you get migraines, they have made major improvements in treatment since I was a kid. Go to your doctor and ask about Imitrex or Zomig or one of about 7 or 8 other migraine medications to treat the headaches when they occur. The doctor may also put you on a daily medication to prevent them from occurring as often. If you get severe nausea with your migraines ask about promethezine. Drinking something with caffeine can help these headaches. If I don't have my prescription with me, I'll lie down in a dark room and rub Vicks Vaporub on my head and try to sleep.

For basic tension headaches, take some Exedrine, lie down, and if you have a significant other who's willing ask them to rub your head/neck to relax the muscles.

For sinus headache, take something that will help your sinuses drain and reduce the pressure. Drink lots of water to help thin the mucus.

For decent medical information about headaches go to: http://www.headaches.org/ The National Headache Foundation.

Also, avoid any painkillers that contain narcotics because these can cause rebound headaches.

I've had pretty good luck with Excedrin. It contains acetaminophen, aspirin and caffeine (which I'm addicted to - it's so fun getting migraines if I haven't had my morning coffee) so at least one of the three is likely to help when I have a headache.

As for headache-inducing frustration.. the best way to deal with it really depends greatly on what the source of frustration is.

For migraines I take Imitrex, and advil. The former sometimes causes a stuffed-up feeling.

Are you taking the Imitrex injection, tablets, nasal spray, or melt tabs? I've heard the nasal spray can cause that stuffed up feeling so maybe try a different way to take it?

When I take Imitrex I take the injections, the other forms either got my stomach more upset than it usually is or didn't get rid of the headache. Yeah it's no fun stabbing myself, but it's a lot better than having a 5 day migraine.

Take a couple of motrin, get a cool cloth and place it over your eyes and lay down in a nice dark room. There's not much you can really do to get rid of a migraine but you can help ease it some. For normal headaches a couple of aspirin should do the trick.
