Ok, so....yeah.....just gonna say, Danganronpa 3.....you better be one hell of a show to make up for the shit you just pulled in this week's Future Arc episode.

Oh and RIP Bandai too, he kinda felt like a joke character to begin so they probably used him to give a clear example as to just what would happen if someone broke their rule.

For the heck of it, I'll speculate on which of the remaining characters are most likely to make it until the end and who's the traitor

It's kind of unfair that someone as kind-hearted as him got that as his forbidden action, since he wouldn't be able to stop any violence since no one took him seriously.

My thoughts exactly. I have my pitchforks and torches ready for storming Spike Chunsoft. Seriously, they messed up big time there. They already put her through so much in the first game, then her brother gets wrecked in Despair Girls, and before that can even be addressed, they off her. Not to mention they were in a secure room with how the Great Gozu blockaded the door, so it was her, Naegi, Gozu, and Gekkougahara in there, and Naegi wouldn't have done it, Gozu seems to be one of the few good guys, and Gekkougahara helped with the New World Program, so she should be clear of suspicion... Poor Hagakure too, he lost his soulmate now... I'm hoping beyond hope that somehow this is a fakeout, as there's just no sense to it both from a storytelling point and a selling point. It's clear people love Asahina, so why kill her off and risk losing a good chunk of your audience? Then the storytelling point, as I mentioned already, they didn't even address that her brother had died, wasn't brought up once.

There's gotta be something more to this, and they're killing people off rather quickly already compared to the first anime, so if they kill off three people every two episodes, then they'll only have one person left at the end of episode 10... So either this was a fake-out (maybe Gozu takes longer to knock out, so he faked her death to protect her in case the killer got to them? ), or the pacing is going to be really bad for this one...

Still gonna miss my girl though

Man I hope this was all set up by Gozu, because right now my biggest fear is next episode the others in the room wake up and see Asahina's blood on Naegi's hands and Gozu finally joins the "Ok let's kill Naegi" bandwagon, via the whole tired cliche of, "I thought I could trust you. I believed in you, Naegi-kun...." especially since, 1) Great Gozu is my favorite of the new characters through these first two episodes, and 2) aside from the crippled computer girl and maybe old dude and anemic looking dude, he is probably Naegi's only ally that wasn't from the first game.

Edit: Oh and I am also gonna miss Asahina if this indeed sticks, as she was my favorite character from the first game and being a bit selfish here, I wish she was around for at least a few more episodes because damn did she look good in her outfit for this show.

Future Arc 2

Asahina... !!!

I'm upset and shocked but I feel like her death is supposed to make it seem like Naegi and Kirigiri aren't plot-armor safe. I doubt either of them would be killed after this, though. MAYBE Kirigiri in a later episode, but she's too important to the entire franchise as a whole to be killed off.

I'm really liking the gimmick of the murder game so far. I noticed they purposefully didn't show the Great Gozu when everyone was put to sleep, as if to implicate him, but it's way too early to know who the killer is. My guess is he's dead too (there wasn't a limit to how many people the attacker could kill) or he walked out of the room for some reason??

So I think the OP has hints on how everyone will die (assuming they're a victim). Asahina a knife and Bandai had stuff coming from their mouth (poisoned).

Since Daganronpa is a series of speculation we might as well try to find out what each characters "forbidden actions" are.

Here's some guessing I have watching the episode and reading off other websites. Some are pretty reasonable guess, while others are a complete hunch.

Makoto Naegi - Can't run

Evidence

Kyouko Kirigiri - Maybe can't talk to males?

Evidence

Asahina Aoi - Unknown

We don't know what it is nor is there really any type of evidence giving off a lead, but we'll probably find out next episode

Hagakure Yasuhiro - Unknown

lol is he even in this killing game? Is he already dead? Is he the traitor?

Munakata Kyousuke - Can't open doors

Evidence

Great Gozu - Unknown

Nothing really hits me on what his "forbidden action" is. Maybe don't let Naegi die? Other then that hes based af.

Gekkougahara Miaya - Don't let anyone touch you?

Evidence

Sakakura Juuzou - Unknown

Nothing really stands out, except he keeps punching everyone lol.

Bandai Daisaku - Don't witness violence by participants

Evidence

Kimura Seiko - Don't use powerful medicine?

Evidence

Mitarai Ryouta - Don't witness violence towards women?

Evidence

Tengan Kazuo - Don't sexual harass anyone?

Evidence

Kizakura Kouichi - Unknown

He doesn't really do anything, other then accuse that Gekkougahara Miaya for being the traitor.

Izayoi Sounosuke - Don't show any affection publicly/Don't eat?

Evidence

Andou Ruruka - Not telling anyone her "forbidden action"?

Evidence

Yukizome Chisa - Unknown

She's dead so nothing I can really expand on. Maybe she's the killer?

As for Asahina's forbidden action it might be something along the lines of not being able to face direct confrontations (?)

Welp, going by that logic Munakata will stab Juzo in the back.

So, I saw it pointed out elsewhere that they're in a different location now, because there's no gash in the wooden door where the Blacksmith's knife was thrown. So they must of been zonked for a long time, or something even bigger is going on here

Guessing Sakakura is that can't attack with his fists as he kicked Ryouta and tried to stab Naegi.
