Charcoal all the way. Better taste. Wood is even better. Now be careful what type of wood you used though, you will get different flavors.

All the points given above are fair and worthy. So the battle must go to whichever has the better accessories. And I think we know the answer to that.

I'm in between i prefer the flavor of meat cooked on charcoal, but I prefer to grill on gas because the temp is more consistent and controllable which makes it easier to cook.

I always use charcoal. For some reason my family doesn't use Propane.. One say they don't like it, it cause the food to taste funny.. -shrugs-

I'm happy with either, but I prefer charcoal. Also, Doritos make the best flint.
