It depends on what I'm shopping for.

If it's grocery shopping, then no way would I ever want to go with others. I go in, get what I want and get out. Going with others only slows me down.

If it's for something else, then shopping with others doesn't bother me because they can go look at what they want while I look at what I want.

I hate shopping with other girls
They drag me everywhere and I feel like shooting myself
We bought what we needed let's go
Wait I want to look at this thing at the far end of the store, proceeds to stop every other minute to look at stuff

why do people take hours to shop or buy 1 or few items? especially when they drag you along.

Next time don't go.

I'm one of those planners who knows what I want first then I'll get it. I've learnt to avoid those times when others want to spend all day shopping or tell them to hurry up this instant.

I prefer solo shopping, but I've noticed that my wife takes longer to grocery shop if we go together, usually because she discusses possible purchases. (To wit, "If I make _____ dish, would you prefer this or that cut of meat in it?") Very considerate, and I do enjoy discussing food. But if either of us go individually, we normally have a product in mind and just make an immediate purchase.

I'm generally okay with shopping with others, except my family because that is really boring.

I don't get it either, like going to the gym with other people. You'll only get distracted and not focus on the thing you went to do... TRAINING

There's a little something called motivational support.

OT: I never shop with anyone else, not even if we're both interested in buying the same thing.

1) Create a shopping list. If you know the planogram of the store you're about to go, organize the list according to where it's located.
2) Head to the store, park closest to the parking lot exit.
3) Dash into said store(s). Grab everything on list. DO NOT DEVIATE FROM LIST!!!
4) Check-out and pay.
5) GTFO the store(s).

Repeat as needed.

Unless you are in a jewelry store or bespoke store/merchant, find what you like, pay and go on to the next.

I'm so focused on leaving I usually forget to grab a cart and have my arms full walking to the register--almost every single time.

Hahaha, I thought I was the only scrub who did that. Gee, should I run back to the entrance to grab a cart? Nah, press on.

Lol, yep book shopping definitely gets a free pass.

I hate shopping. If I didn't need to freaking eat or wear clothing then I wouldn't do it but society tends to frown on naked guys who run around stealing food so shopping it is. I always try to get in and out super fast. It's annoying going with someone who doesn't even know what they want and are impulsive shoppers. I hate criss-crossing a store. I make my list and start from the back of a store to the front, get my #$%^ and get the heck out of Dodge.

Fluorescent lights also make me really dizzy for some reason and Wal-Mart's is the worst. I really dislike shopping and HATE looking at things if I don't have the money to buy them. What is the point of looking at a fancy curved screen TV's if I can't afford to buy one? Or games or PC's? How do people enjoy that? I really don't need the reminder that I can't afford to buy any of that crap. If I've got the money and plan to buy one then I'm more than happy to go look at them with you though.

There's just some things I have NO patience for and shopping is one of them. I especially get annoyed by all the slow as snail people. I move at a fairly brisk pace and it really annoys me getting behind people who feel as if they have all day to walk 3 freaking feet or even worse when they decide to block the whole isle with their buggy because why not, they're the only person shopping right? And don't get me started on people who can't put their cell phones down for a second, not even to freaking check out. That's beyond annoying!:fury:
