I'm not sure if this is unique to Finland but we have a thing here called "everyman's right" which dictates that anyone is allowed to camp, fish, pick berries etc. on anyone's forest land. You just can't cut down trees!

Wow that's cool! But would it consider to be stealing if you go and take fruits from trees?

I think the biggest one in America is being able to criticize the governments and leaders, when I was living in Thailand and China those are big Nono and can land you in jail.

If they're growing wild they're fair game! But then again I don't think there are any fruit trees that do grow wild in Finland :/

Not tipping.

Asking people if they are ok (We don't have the whole mind your own business thing America has where most people will ignore someone who is obviously upset or in pain even if they are a stranger)

Because of the above i have grown up idolizing people who ask people what is wrong even when they look down.

In school when i was sad i always sat alone and older girls would come and ask if i was ok i looked down
When i was at a night club and felt sudden depression and went to sit down a guy came up to me and asked if i was ok.

Generally where i live that is acceptable however when i have shared that with people from the states they get mad like OMG MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS you could make it worse etc etc and it's really just ...pathetic in my opinion but sorry off topic xD

I usually don't let people know I'm feeling down or "sad" there's no need for the world to know much less for others to feel pitty for me

Kiss strangers/people you just met/or just people in general, on the cheek every time you greet them.

I hope that changes. Government leaders are the people who need to be criticized the most.
