Yeah like here in Australia, the Prime minister was at the football tonight and everytime he was put on the big screen the whole crowd booed.
Here our leaders are not respected nor feared at all.

There are lots of things that are socially acceptable in the US but frowned upon elsewhere. Like the double down.

Not a country, but in Ohio we think it is socially acceptable to pose in front of anything with you and all your friends arranged with your arms in the air attempting to spell Ohio. I don't think anyone but Ohioans find this socially acceptable and probably the only acceptable place to do it is outside of Ohio Stadium on game day, but that don't stop us nosiree.

I honestly cannot see it ever changing here. Well unless Islam takes over. :P

There was one Prime minister, Bob Hawke, he seems respected for doing things like sjulling a beer on camera/in public. lol that's about the only was for a leader to get respect in Australia...
Makes you seem in touch with the common people i guess..(that would not happen now a days).

But here, probably as with America, you've basically got two parties that whilst better than each other in certain aspects, are really just as shitty and bad as each other.
