For males
Would you rather be called a boy or a man?
Would you rather be called mr. or sir?

For females
Would you rather be called a girl or a woman?
Would you rather be called ms.(or mrs.) or ma'am?

Personally I prefer man and sir (though I wouldn't mind mr.).

Man (though, honestly, I might just prefer "person")
Sir

"Sir" has always sounded very respectful to me. It gives the one who uses it a sense of humility that almost instantly makes me respect them back.

I've never liked the sound of boy, girl, man, or woman though. The first two sound condescending and the last two almost sound archaically distant. But that's just me being weird.

"Guy" is fine for me. "Boy" can come across as pejorative, and "man" is too biological.

Would you rather be called mr. or sir?

"Lord". Nothing less.

I don't really care about the boy/man part.
But Sir... I like that... "Sir (my name)"... perfect

Man, but I don't care all that much.

Neither, everyone just calls me by my last name since my first name Kevin is way too common. I suppose if I had to choose one mr.
